IIT Gandhinagar Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

As IIT Gandhinagar is a new IIT, all the infrastructure on the campus is quite modern and fresh, and the campus layout has been mapped very well. A large area has been dedicated to the academic block, which hosts multiple state-of-the-art laboratories, and the campus is green. This means the campus is also eco-friendly. The other highlight is the Sports complex, which has some world-class facilities and covers most sports, including aquatics. The sports complex is so well equipped that many national and international level tournaments are conducted in the field on a regular basis.

I feel that college life here is vibrant as there are a lot of things that can be done on campus, and also the two fests of the college, Amalthea (tech summit) and Blithchrone (cultural fest), keep the students active all year round. The students are involved well in these fests, which can be seen by how fast these fests are growing. One downside is the club culture, which is primarily inactive on campus, but attempts are being made to bring them back.Read Full Review

IIT Gandhinagar has world-class infrastructure. There are two auditoriums with a capacity of 300 and 600 people. There are multiple lecture halls having capacity of more than 100 people. All the buildings are either new or have been maintained well. Wi-Fi facilities are available in all the buildings.

There is a cultural fest named Blithchron and it is celebrated for 3 days during the month of February. Amalthea is technical summit of IIT Gandhinagar. Both of these fests are organized by first and second year students. There are a lot of clubs under technical and cultural council. There is always an event happening every week.Read Full Review

The campus academic blocks are world-class. The architecture favors sustainability and our campus is a green campus. The campus has a lot of flora and fauna here. There is a separate academic block where there are all the academic buildings.

The campus life is very amazing. There are around 2000 students residing in our Institute. There are various clubs and anyone can join the clubs they are interested in. Some of the clubs include a Dance Club, Singing Club, Astronomy Club, Coding Club, etc. The annual fest that is organized yearly is Blithchron and there is also a technical summit Amalthea in our institute.Read Full Review
