IIT Gandhinagar Review: Dream Come True

Overall Rating
The overall experience at IIT Gandhinagar is very nice and good. I was allotted this institute based on my JEE Advances rank through JoSAA counseling. I took admission in the Computer science & Engineering program as I was interested in it. We get to learn the real-world applications of CSE and not only the theoretical knowledge. Students are encouraged to take research projects under various professors.
 

Academics Rating
The academics at IIT Gandhinagar are very good like the other IITs. Research projects as part of the B.Tech program is quite helpful for students who want to go to research field. Talking about exams, there are two exams per semester i.e. mid-semester exams and end-semester exams.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors at IIT Gandhinagar are very experienced and have a lot of knowledge about their subjects. They also have real-world industry experience which is reflected in their teaching also. Students take various projects under the professors which is quite helpful for the students who plan their careers in research.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a very good placement cell in our Institute. Lots of companies visit our campus every year. Some of the big companies that visit our institute for placements and internships include DE Shaw, google, Samsung R&D, Skan AI, devRev, Texas Instruments, Graviton, and many more. The Alumni relations are also very good for our institute.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our campus provides residential facilities and it is compulsory for all the students. We have a total 12 hostels as of now. First year students are allotted hostel with triple occupancy and students get single rooms from third year onwards.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus academic blocks are world-class. The architecture favors sustainability and our campus is a green campus. The campus has a lot of flora and fauna here. There is a separate academic block where there are all the academic buildings.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very amazing. There are around 2000 students residing in our Institute. There are various clubs and anyone can join the clubs they are interested in. Some of the clubs include a Dance Club, Singing Club, Astronomy Club, Coding Club, etc. The annual fest that is organized yearly is Blithchron and there is also a technical summit Amalthea in our institute.
