JEE Mains is the first stage of the IIT- JEE exam and it is conducted twice in a year in an online, Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. In order to appear for this exam, the students must qualify the eligibility criteria which is passed 10+2 / Pre-University course (PUC) or other equivalent examinations.
This examination is conducted in around 13 languages that are English, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, and others. Moreover, it includes mainly 2 papers- Paper 1 & Paper 2 (A) online mode and Paper 2 (B) in offline.
The Paper 1 consists of 75 questions for 300 marks which are multiple choice questions & numerical value questions. Paper 2 (A) candidates get 77 questions carrying 400 marks & Paper 2 (B), 100 questions for 400 marks and both the papers consist of MCQs, Numerical Value, and questions related to Drawing Aptitude. Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test popularly known as BITSAT is conducted twice in a year through the CBT mode. The eligibility criteria of this exam is to qualify 10 + 2 in PCM / PCB with English with at least 75% marks in aggregate and minimum 60% marks in each subject. Both Indian and Non-Indian students can appear for the BITSAT exam.
The students appearing for the BITSAT exam need to complete it within 3 Hours and it contains around 130 Multiple Choice Questions for a total of 390 marks. The questions are mainly from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, English, Mathematics / Biology (For B.Pharm), and Logical Reasoning.

Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination, commonly known as VITEEE is one of the top University level Engineering entrance exams. The medium of the VITEEE exam is English and it is conducted once a year. It is conducted through the CBT mode consisting of 125 MCQs with an exam duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. The questions are from subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Aptitude.
The Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, and PIOs students who have completed Class 12th in PCM / PCB / PCMB or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Moreover, 50% marks are required for students belonging to reserved category (SC / ST). The mode of exam of SRMJEEE is online (Remote Proctored Exam) and it is conducted thrice in a year in English language only.
This exam contains 125 MCQs and they are mainly from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology, English, and Aptitude. Candidates from India, NRI’s / PIO / OCI Card Holders issued by the Government of India are eligible to apply for this exam.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET)Â is one of the popular engineering entrance exams. This exam is conducted once in a year and students can secure admission at Universities / Institutes located in Karnataka state.
The eligibility criteria of this exam for Indian, OCI, and PIO students is to pass Class 12th in PCM & English with at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam. Moreover, 5% relaxation is given to Karnataka students belonging to SC / ST / OBC category.
COMEDK UGET is a 3 hour test which is conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. This exam contains mainly 180 objective type questions from subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Class 11th & 12th curriculum prescribed by CBSE.
6. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE)

The WBJEEE or West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is one of the popular Engineering entrance exams. It is conducted once in a year in offline (OMR mode) i.e., pen and paper-based. The Indian / OCI students who have completed 10 + 2 or its equivalent can appear for this exam.
This examination consists of 2 Papers with 155 MCQ based questions i.e, Paper 1 containing 80 questions & 75 in Paper 2 from subjects like Physics and Chemistry. The students who have to complete this exam in 2 hours.
*OCI candidates will only be eligible for unreserved seats under All India Quota.
 7. The Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET)

The Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test popularly known as MHT CET, is a State level entrance exam conducted for facilitating admission in Universities / Institutes in Maharashtra State.
Students who have qualified Class 12th / equivalent in respective discipline are eligible to appear in the examination. Indian citizens & children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Indian workers in the Gulf countries, and Foreign National candidates can skip appearing in the exam because a separate counseling session is conducted for them.
MHT CET is conducted once in a year through online CBT mode and all the questions are MCQ type. MHT CET has 3 Papers in total, Paper 1 for Mathematics, Paper 2 for Physics and Chemistry & Paper 3 for Biology. Candidates choosing PCB group will have to attempt 200 and PCM group are required to solve 150 questions & the entire paper will carry 200 marks. Time duration of 90 minutes will be given to students for solving each paper.
8. Manipal Entrance Test (MET)

Manipal Entrance Test (MET) stands among the best Engineering entrance exams conducted once in a year in 3 phases in around 25 states. 12th Standard qualified students and International Students with GCE (General Certificate of Education) Advanced Level (A-Level) / International Baccalaureate (IB) / other equivalent qualification are eligible to appear in the exam.
There are 60 Objective Type Questions and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions asked in the examination for a total of 240 marks. The questions will include topics from the subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & English only and the time duration provided to students will be 120 minutes.
9. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)

Karnataka Common Entrance Test also known as KEA UGCET – Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test / UGCET / Karnataka CET / Kar CET / K-CET is one of the offline Engineering entrance exams conducted in OMR mode (Pen and Paper-based Test). The medium of this examination is English and Kannada. Candidates who desire to take admission through KCET must be Indian citizens and they must have passed a qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
There are a total of 4 papers and for solving each paper students are given a time of 80 minutes consisting of 60 MCQs and 60 marks for each paper. Questions are asked from Class 11th and 12th curriculum set by the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka.
10. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE)

KIITEE is an online CBT that is conducted in English language only. Candidates passed in 10+2 with relevant subjects or appearing in the examination are eligible to appear in the examination.
There are in total 120 Objective Type Questions for a total of 80 marks. The time allotted to students is 150 minutes to solve the paper.
