Result / Score Calculation:

To assess the scores obtained by applicants in the CUSAT CAT exam 2026, the following formula will be used:

S = 4R – 1W

Wherein,

S = CAT score

R = Number of Correct Responses

W = Number of Incorrect Responses

Ranking Criteria:

For academic courses in which more than 1 test are considered for ranking purposes, the respective rank list will be prepared based on the Percentile Index as per this formula:

[(n+1-p) / n] x S x 100

Here,

n = Number of Students Appearing for the Exam in Particular Subject

p = Position Secured as per CAT Scores

S = Actual Score of the Candidate

This percentile index will be integrated to obtain the relative rank of the applicant for the merit list of the respective program.
