
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will open the IIT JAM 2026 registration window from 5th September 2025 onwards. Eligible candidates can register Online for the exam only through JOAPS - JAM Online Application Processing System by visiting ‘jam2026.iitb.ac.in’ till 12th October 2025. Female students & the ST / SC / PwD students have to pay Rs. 1000/- for 1 Test Paper & Rs. 1350/- for 2 papers during the registration. The exam fee for other candidates is Rs. 2000/- (for 1 paper) & Rs. 2700/- (for 2 test papers).
Candidates who want to rectify their mistakes in fields such as Gender / Exam Centre / Category / Selected Test Paper can do the same till 10th November 2025 by paying Rs. 300/-. The last date for uploading the OBC-NCL / EWS Certificate with correct details is 20th November 2025. Moreover, PwD students can apply for availing the facilities for Scribe assistance & compensatory time till 30th December 2025.

The IIT Bombay – the conducting body will open a correction window and candidates are allowed to make changes. The last date for uploading the rectified OBC-NCL / EWS Certificate is 20th November 2025. Candidates can edit the following sections till 10th November 2025 & need to pay additional Rs. 300/- to edit the same in the filled-in application form through the correction window:
Aspiring candidates who look forward to attempting the IIT JAM 2026 entrance test must make sure that they fulfil the eligibility requirements and then proceed with the registration to avoid rejection.
