Academic Qualifications
The MITID DAT eligibility criteria 2026 include the required academic qualifications according to which students should have qualified Class 12th for B.Des courses. In addition to this, for M.Des programs, an Undergraduate degree with the discipline prescribed by the respective authority is mandatory in order to attempt the MITID DAT 2026.
*Students can attempt the test if they are currently appearing for the final Class 12th / Graduation exam, however, admission will be granted only after clearing the same.
Qualifying Marks
Candidates should have obtained the specified marks in the last qualifying test as it is compulsory for them in order to become eligible to attempt the MITID DAT Exam. Additionally, the minimum required marks for B.Des courses is 45% and for M.Des programs it is 50% / equivalent grade.
*For the reserved & PwD category candidates of Maharashtra State, the conducting authority provides a relaxation in qualifying marks of 5%.

The reservation criteria apply according to the directives of the Maharashtra Government and based on the same maximum or vertical reservation will be up to 50% and along with this additional 10% seats will be reserved for EWS.
