When I had visited my college for the first time, the best thing I liked about it was, the faculties were friendly and not arrogant. According to my rank in the COMEDK exam I felt that the K.S. K.S. Institute of Technology has good infrastructure and facilities. The teachers are supportive and give guidance regarding ones career. This college provides great trainings and placements with recognised trainers. The college mostly focuses towards hackathons and projects that help build students abilities to learn things at a better level. I'm in 4th semester now. I got admitted to KSIT through COMEDK. I preferred this college mainly because of it's in the main road and hostel is very near to college. And I asked seniors and alumni about the courses, academics and placements, all I heard was positive reviews. My suggestion is if you are searching for good college with good academics and hostel facility, this is the best College. But if you are looking for good infrastructure, then you have to think twice. After studying in Kerala, which is known for its greenery and huge college campus, coming to KSIT was weird. The campus of KSIT is small but decent. The crowd is mostly of students from southern states and Gujarat. Not many North East students with whom I have spent a fair bit of time in Kerala. KSIT is located a little far from Bangalore city and is, on the whole, I would say, a decent enough college. The campus is quite small, and therefore there's no place inside the campus to hang around, plus it is quite far from the main city. To watch a movie on Sunday, we had to travel 12 miles as the nearest cinema was that far. CS branch is the best, but TC/Mechanical is kind of okayish.
