I have joined this institute in 2022 in the B.Tech (Hons.) course and was happy and feeling proud of being an NITian and make my parents happy and feel good. The very first of my institute day was started with the orientation program which was held in the presence or introduction of all the department HODs and deans related to their work.
My course or the department I belong is metallurgy and materials engineering which is one of the best department of core field and the faculty members are also good. They also co-operate with your understanding. The lab staffs are also good and have well understanding manner. They helped us to how to solve the problems.
Faculties in our institute are very good some faculties might seem to be strict but they are also co-operative and listen to the problem of the students. They help to solve the problem and try to develop in removing the problem which the students are facing or they try to relax the students that how the students follow.
Yes, we have a Training and Placement Cell which keep or functions for the placements in the institute.
Yes on the first year we have double sharing rooms but in the second year they provide single room to everyone.
Our institute has two academic buildings one is the new academic building where all classes are going on with full air-conditioned rooms and in the ground floor all the teachers cabins are there where the teachers sit. There is an open air theatre present in the new academic building and the other old academic building is for the office of all the staffs.
Campus life in the institute is better than other institutes because it is having a green huge campus to enjoy in our institute there are various clubs which performs various work like beat breakers for dancing, rooh for singing, invite for modeling, and there are various fests like culfest, ojass, and sports fest is urja which is very entertaining and enthusiastic.

In my opinion, Overall college is excellent. Academics, campus life, Faculties, ragging free campus, seniors, placements, night life all are excellent. Authority is also very supporting. I am a student of NIT Jamshedpur. I got admission in this college through JEE entrance exam. I wanted to go to an IIT but my rank was not enough to get admission in an IIT institute. So I decided to take admission here as this institute is near to my place. I would suggest students from Jharkhand to take admission in this institute as it is the best engineering NIT institute....
