They say that the college you go to sets the pace and direction for the rest of your career and life. If this is the case then you want to pick a great college/university that will offer you an incomparable experience which is capable of transforming you and your life for the better. Jain University in Bangalore offers this type of experience. I attended this esteemed university and graduated in 2019. As an undergraduate Commerce major, I was really blown away by the extensive course offerings of Jain University. These were not just geared towards teaching students about the theoretical aspects of the business. While this alone would be enough to help them land a great job after graduation, Jain University’s commerce courses were designed to give students the solid foundation that they would need to excel in the professional world - regardless of the field that they chose to work in.

The commerce program is great if you want to gain a solid understanding of how things work in the business world. For example, you’ll learn about derivatives and trading on the stock market. The capital market courses allow you to learn the practical aspects if trading on these markets through mock trading sessions.

The professors are very helpful. The caliber of the professors is what defines a university. I found the professors to be very qualified and helpful. Not only were they very knowledgeable about the different subjects in commerce, but they had a natural passion for and talent in teaching. It was almost as though they wanted to use their immense insights and experience to mold me into a professional business person and leader! The teachers and professors definitely gave me the confidence to excel in my first job out of undergraduate school!

People choose this university because of its stellar reputation. This is one of the main reasons why almost all Jain University graduates find work within a few months of graduation. I found the professors to be very knowledgeable and friendly in terms of helping me draft the resume I would need to find a plum internship and later job.

The career center is also a great resource to use. The directors there are very friendly. Their vast experience in job searching gives them the practical knowledge and insight needed to help students prep resumes. They also help students prep for interviews so that they can answer the questions with confidence. But the people who work in the career center also give students the valuable insights they’ll need to excel on the job. These are gems of knowledge that can only be gained through real life work experience.

The housing options were great at Jain University. The apartments and hostels come with full accommodations. The rent rates are reasonable and very affordable as well. The hostels are segregated by gender, but they are constantly cleaned and stocked with food items. This comes in handy for college students who often have tight budgets.

There is good security at the hostels and this is great for the women students who attend.

The infrastructure is top notch. The business school comes with an incubator which gives many hopeful entrepreneurs the opportunity to see if their business ideas would be viable. Apart from that, the library and copy center are top-notch and equipped with the latest in technology and equipment The university has a gym that’s replete with badminton, tennis, basketball facilities and more. Indeed, this university is a haven for you if you’re a sports enthusiast.

Jain University is one of the best Universities in India. There is a reason for this. The educational and real-life experiences there are par-none. I felt as though I got the training and background I needed to be successful in the rest of my life. I’m definitely applying the knowledge I learned from my commerce courses to my job as a Senior Pharmacy sales manager. I’m successful in what I do and I love my job! If I had to do it all over again, I would gladly attend Jain University in a heartbeat. For me, there is no university in India (or in the world) that is comparable!
