It provides education without compromising necessary quality considerations. The co-coordinator is working as a caretaker and always ready to provide guidelines through personal contact as well. Administrative staff possesses the talent to resolve the students’ issues regarding and related to office work, also, if required with the co-operation of the technical team for the queries raised and escalated at the utmost speed. Sources are always available to help the students in their need of doubts on an online as well as offline basis. Students’ difficulties are attended on priority basis. Sufficient resources and study material are provided to learners in the physical format and on the college website. They can access through required links and download. It is also circulated on college group in various forms. A wide category of educational courses is having scope here to join at an inexpensive cost. Important notices and notifications are released on regular basis and forwarded to the knowledge seekers timely and educated them about these. UGC announced the equivalence of degree awarded through Open and Distance Learning with the degree obtained through conventional mode. It shall be treated with the same value to the corresponding regular courses offered. Whatever input I put here in regard to the flexibility and convenience of this mode in the field of higher education in my college is less. It is a great opportunity to study under such an education system that provides quality education with required co-operation, support and guidance which is the demand of today’s learners where students are committing suicides due to the mistreatment and tortures of the institute and teachers/Professors.

I’m admitted to School of Open and Distance Learning, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune for MBA HRM program and proud to be a part of SODL, SPPU, Pune. The mandatory entry and eligibility requirements are that a student must have completed his/her graduation. He/she must have two years of professional experience of working or he/she must be 30 or greater than 30 years of age. These are the basic criteria and conditions checked prior to get the admission. My only motive for enrolling in this program is to get a place where I can develop my academic qualification by distance learning mode with the continuation of my job having the same quality education and degree equivalence as we achieve in regular mode of which both the things I got here. I was searching for a program recognized under UGC where I can get on my passing and degree certificate the name of “Oxford of the East”, as we know the reputation and status of the SPPU which is pioneered in its field and importance of mentioned it on paper that I’m a SPPU Postgraduate.

Academic staff and faculty are well equipped with knowledge, highest qualification and level of degree, and experience with their own unique qualities. Some are from top, pioneered and recognized research institutes, premier universities abroad, social media background such as an Editor, etc. They are having extreme teaching skills and professional counseling sessions conducting techniques.

It is positioned in the North-western part of Pune city. SPPU occupies an area of about 411 acres from which SODL is constructed within an area of 50 acres which is divided into sections such as Main Building, College Canteen and other Departments' buildings in the premises. Admissions, Examination, Finance & Accounts and Administration Buildings, Library Facility, Xerox and Prints Cyber Cafe, Maharashtra Bank to Pay Challan, ATM Unit, etc. are included outside SODL in the University campus. Research Area, Training and Development Centers, Sports Section, etc. are also the parts of it.

The atmosphere of the Campus Life is not so crowded, may be due to the wide area and different purposes and concerns of the people and variety of reasons of public issues, so it gets distributed, but the working members and visitors are in large numbers. It is connected with several types of clubs such as Rotary Club, Science Club, etc. It had organized INNO-FEST 2021. But the arrangements and presentations were uniformly done by SPPU, not specifically by SODL. Engagement activities such as Events, Seminars, Conferences and Workshops are conducted on regular and frequent basis.
