Life at CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore

Overall Rating
Hello to whomever reading this. So I got admitted to this college through KCET. I didn't even know the name of this college until the KCET results came out. But when I enquired some people about this college they were like "It's good. You can join without any fear. And some of them also said “It’s better than CMRU". And yes, that's how I joined this college.
 

Academics Rating
One can get admitted to this college through giving entrance exams like KCET and COMEDK. You can also get admitted here through management. As my knowledge serves the courses available here are CS and its other branches, IS, ECE, AIML, IDS, and EEE. They are going to end that branch this year. The fee is around 1.23 thousand if you join through entrance exams. The management fee will be around 4-5 lakh.
 

Faculty Rating
So if you consider the education quality it's pretty good. It's actually better than the it's other branches. But the thing is no matter how good, their teaching is not enough. You yourself have to figure it out. The faculty is quite good. I can't say the whole faculty is good, but few of them are really good. Some are worst at teaching. I'm from ECE branch and that python lady's teaching is so horrible. Other than that everyone are good. Most of the professors are from other states and that's not an issue if you know basic English.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell in our college. I’ve asked my seniors about the placement thing and they said it quite good. Some of my seniors got placed to Japanese companies with maximum LPA too. Good companies do come to our college also we too should have some skills. If your CGPA is above 9 and if you are good with your skills you can get places here.
 

Hostel Rating
First of all I'm staying in PG. And if you ask me whether you need to join the hostel, my answer is "NO". My seniors said that the food is really bad. But my batch mates are like it's quite good. In hostel you can get so many varieties of food and you'll also get evening snacks. But the problem is with the cleanliness and also they won't provide any bed (the mattress) and you are supposed to wash your clothes on your own even after paying 1.5. Do according to me it's better to join PG.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is not fancy or anything. But it's good. The labs are maintained well. The library is also good. The washrooms are maintained quite well. But sometimes we'll be having some issues with the water supply. The buildings are quite old. The classrooms are also quite old. The auditorium, it could've been little bit bigger but that's fine.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is too small when compared to other colleges. We’ve basketball court, and a playground. The clubs are good. There are so many clubs to bring out your talent. They do auditions at some particular days if you want to become a member of that club. If I want to talk about the fests, we have CULTURA. I've not seen it because I'm a first year student. But according to my seniors it will be pretty good.

    CMRIT Bangalore is accredited with A++ by NAAC. It has a 8-acre campus located in Marathahalli. I took admission in this institute through COMEDK Exam.     CMR Institute of Technology is situated in the prime area of Bangalore. It has a good placement ratio according to the other Institutes and the students are internally supported to do extracurricular activities like participating in various hackathon and sports which are taking place in other Institutes.
