So as asked in this above question what made me choose this university is that the quality of education provided. The fees structure compared to the other colleges is much more better than the others and best part of the hostel is you get every facility at the hostel including laundry, mess, food, table, chairs, almirah, clean bathrooms, balcony, air cooler, and even you get the facility of microwaves and induction cook top. They even provided an iron in the hostel for students to iron their clothes.

So the course I chose here is the bachelors of engineering in computer science. I chose this course because of the growing scope on this field and I wanted to explore the field of computer science. The bare minimum requirements for enrolling into this program are that you must have above 70% in class 12th and you must have given JEE Mains exam. For getting admission you need to fill the admission form which is easily available on the website of Chitkara University.

Now as we are going to talk about the faculty members and teaching in this course. So let’s start. The faculty members are highly qualified in their subject. Most of them have masters in the subject they are teaching and some of the teachers are even IIT pass outs. For the branch I am in, the university has collaborated with a platform called code quotient which is a platform for coding learning. Many highly skilled teachers are there and it is great to learn from them as they are very supportive in times you don't understand something or anything like that.

Yes, they do have a Placements Cell which calls different companies every year to hire students from the 3rd and the 4th year. Many of my friends and neighbours of mine have studies from this university have gotten a decent placement which I guess most of the students in colleges want.

Yes, we do have a hostel in our college and I am a hostler only so I think I can describe it well. The hostel is different for students of different year. The hostels are pretty decent according to the price. There is no single room system; you have to share a room with 3 other people. Everyone in the room is provided with their own different almirahs, tables, chair, and there is a common air cooler and two fans. The bathroom is good which is for most of the time clean and hygienic to use. It has floors and has microwaves and induction cooktops on every floor for students to use. Laundry guys come 2 days a week takes clothes and return them after washing on the next visit to the hostel. And the hostel for girls and boys are different. Talking about the recreational and co - curricular activities there are basketball ground, gym, football field, badminton courts, indoor games, and more things to do.

So talking about the infrastructure, campus is divided into different blocks which are names on the historical scientists and achievers. So there are 3 sections where most of the classes of the CSR students take place. CVR block, RJ block, and Kalam block. CVR for CV Raman and RJ stands for Ramanujan. The nursing and pharma have their separate different blocks. The university is located at a nice location where there is not much noise and all. But a disadvantage is that, there is nothing much outside of university that we can do.

Talking about the campus life, I think it is pretty decent and all the facilities like food courts and all are there. Talking about the crowd, the ratio of Male and female is of 60:40 and there are enough crowds that you won’t feel alone there. The crowd is not like too much it is decent according to me. There are many clubs. Fests are organized regularly. DJ nights are also organised in every 2 to three months. Overall the campus life is good and decent and very nice.
