iLEAD has always been a platform for me that has encouraged me in different aspects of my life. I always had a dream of doing a course in mass communication, so I searched, and Google recommended me this college as the 4th best media in India by KPMG. One month before the session starts a special cultural event is held by the college known as “student orientation”. In this event, the freshers have to perform and showcase their talents; the best performers are awarded and get a chance to participate in upcoming events of the college. I was thrilled by how the seniors organized the whole event and motivated me. I had always desired that I begin my college with a memorable event; this was also fulfilled when we had a fresher’s party two days before our session started. I got to interact with my classmates and also with some seniors. My actual journey the college started with attaining classes, presenting projects, and doing case study.

ILEAD not only excels in Media courses, but it also gives an opportunity in other courses like Bachelor in Business Administration, Fashion Designing, and Animation. In the first semester, I had a special class called Soft Skills class which was mandatory for all new students for personality development. In this class, we had to talk for a couple of minutes on a given topic in front of the camera. I believe that this special class has built my ability in having a conversation and acquiring self-confidence. We were given several exciting projects and presentations every month and had a mock test before exams which helped me for the main exam.

All the faculty members are greatly experienced in their respective subjects. They are very much cooperative and supportive. Other than being highly qualified and knowledgeable, they are friendly and make learning easy for us, and also provide us industry experience, tactics. The faculty always focus on making us learn through fun activities. Faculty to a student is 30 students teacher which is a healthy ratio when compared to other institutions. They helped me in every possible way and grow in life. We were also been helped out when we had doubts about any presentation or case studies. Overall I liked the faculty and it created a great impact on my career.

Though the college promises you for giving placement in various famous companies, they don’t take the placement system seriously. I was not given any opportunity or placement from college after passing out. But of course, with the personality development classes they provided me, I was able to join an ad agency. However, the placement scenario is changing for the newcomers in the college and is getting better. Recently the college came with few TV channels like Taaza TV, Friends FM, and Zoomcar for providing internships.

It’s not compulsory to stay in a college hostel, but I stayed as it was very much near the campus and was well furnished with ac rooms. I had to share the room with two other batch mates. The rooms were big and tidy with attached bathrooms and cleaning service was given twice a week. It also provides food for both non-vegetarians and vegetarians. I have spent most of the time in the hostel. It was the best time of my life. Seniors were very much supporting and guided us a lot in our projects and exams. You must experience hostel life once in your lifetime.

The college is divided into two complexes. In the first building, all the classrooms are situated. I was excited when I first entered the college. The college has a unique way of decorating reusable products aware of environmental issues and gives an eye-soothing green atmosphere. We also had an auditorium where small meetings, events, etc. were arranged. Other than that we had two cafeterias and a huge library where I used to spend my leisure time. On the second campus we had a vast sports complex and also for indoor games we had pool, carom, chess, table tennis, etc. our college also gave us gym facility.

Though the life of the college was full of works and very much hectic, with all the events and programs held in my college I was able to live the best moments of my life here. Different events are prepared by different sectors of our college. I have participated in many college events and sports events and have bagged several prizes. These have also helped me in acquiring my self-confidence. Studying in this college has made me a better person and also is the reason for the post I am working in my life.
