University of Lucknow B.Tech Review By Md Aquib Khan

I enrolled in this college in 2020 through UPSEE (AKTU) entrance examination for only UP colleges conducted by AKTU. I was searching for a government college to complete my further studies. In the counselling list, I choose University of Lucknow as my top priority as I get to know that this is a public state University in Uttar Pradesh. I researched for this institution and get to know that this college has two campuses in Lucknow. My engineering course was located in the second campus in Jankipuram extension. The Faculty of engineering and technology has opened its door for B.Tech students from 2017. In the second campus, the oldest building in the campus is Faculty of Law, which is beside the engineering Faculty. There are two separate buildings for engineering course. Infrastructure is very amazing of the new building of engineering of the institution. When I came into first year, I met very extra minded people's came from all over Uttar Pradesh. College's cultural activities and seminars for up skill and skill building attract me so much. Teachers are very supportive and clear your all doubts regarding your syllabus or other technical support. Placement is also average but not good as IITs, here company visits for candidates searching for BDE role more. There are two branches of CSE. B.Tech course have total six branches as CSE, CSE (AI), ME, ECE, EE, and CE. Anyone searching for a good campus and to enjoy their college life should surely enroll in this institution to get exposures. This institution is also NAAC A++ and UGC-1 certified.

I enrolled in B.Tech course in this institution. I am doing this course in this institution to get government certified degree and to get job after this course. There is used to be an entrance exam for this course as UPSEE (AKTU) to get admission in B.Tech. Nowadays it takes students from JEE mains. You are eligible only if you have JEE mains score card for the respective session. Here, the course offered in 6 branches. Courses are conducted in semester manner. Fee is also average but higher than other government institutions. You can get scholarship also from UP government if you are eligible. You should enroll here if you are searching for best college in UP or even in all over India.

Faculty members are very supportive and highly knowledgeable. They all entered here through various interviews and exams. Every Faculty will be the master of her own subject. Their teaching style is very interesting and students earn skills and knowledge through their teachings. They complete syllabus before exams and make students to do extra activities for deep knowledge about the subject. About 100 faculty members are available for engineering courses in this institution. Their qualifications are either engineers or Ph.D. They are very relevant to teach and give not only subject specific contents but also for skills enhancement.

In my institution, there is a central placement cell situated in the old campus of the university. For the engineering students, the Training and Placement Cell, Faculty of engineering and technology provides placement for their students. About 90% students get placed from the first batch and second batch and so on. Some students get enrolled for their higher studies and left all are placed in start-ups or MNCs. Company or start-ups visit for all the profiles such as BDE, Software developer, mechanical civil, etc.

For engineering students, there are also hostel facilities for the students who are far from their home. Kautilya Hall is for engineering students located in the backside of the engineering Faculty building.

Infrastructure of the new campus is highly attractive and perfect. All buildings are attached with modern facilities to provide trending technologies and knowledge for their students. The engineering building has modern labs with numerous computer systems and big classes and seminar halls. There is also a very big auditorium in the new building of engineering. A workshop building for all the branches especially mechanical is also available with modern machines. Everything is good and all the amenities are available in this institution.

If you have to really enjoy your college life with your studies then this is the best institute in U.P. This university has a big campus in Jankipuram for engineering students, law students, and management program students. There are 5 hostels in the new campus, two of them for boys and three for girls. Everyday something is going on in the campus as an event organised by any faculty or departments. In the engineering faculty, there is life robo club, coding club, cultural club, sanskriti club, etc. is available to enhance their students with these events. Every student is a member of either clubs. Campus Life is very amazing with all exposure to enjoy and learn new things every day.
