IMS Engineering College B.Tech Review By Pallavi

I have chosen B.Tech CSE in IMSEC. I had some expectation from this college but as I enter this college from my first week of college I get the thing that for this college only marks matters to them. They only need good results. They don't care about children future. They only need their college should be on top so they pressurise kids for study by taking several test every month. They don't have any extracurricular activities that will help student for polishing them and upgrade their better self. Professor only teaches theoretical things only define, no question practice, and then they give us some tough question for which we don't have any idea. In 2nd year also they focuses on academic only. No sports. 7 hours class, a break, and labs are also useless. We only waste our time there. But some positive things are fest, some good teachers, etc.

Overall academic is good. They do a lot hard work on us by providing many extra classes. But because of few teachers these classes are worth. But some teachers are not able to teach us and make us understand the concept. They lack in the thing of knowledge. As academic pressure is more, the result doesn't get bad but pressurising kids giving, them a lot of classes are really a headache.

It's 50-50 some faculty are awesome and some are opposite. In knowledge, aspect, and respect and way of speaking to others. Some Faculty motivates us, provide us some life helping tips how to tackle life problem. They don't only help in academic but also guide us how to make our future strong. On other hand few faculty doesn't even know how to talk. They don't even know how to teach us. They only disrespect us.

No idea of Placement. Review of senior: they said they don't have any Placement, they just waste our time. But Placement Cell is helpful as I have heard from my some seniors that are placed at very good place right now. The problem is the college repeat the prominent Placement that a few years ago, they don't show fresh record.

Hostel infrastructure is good. I know about girls’ hostel the security is good. The rule is also good for girls. The college protects the girl. For boys’ hostel, everything is nice but the only thing is their food quality deteriorates in both taste and quality. A lot of time insects are lying on food. Security is good for hosteller.

There are four blocks in our college. The college is not that much big. It’s congested. We don't have a lively environment. The ground is also not big. We are just felt locked in a building. The color of walls is depressing but in A block there's a garden in middle, it felt better. There is AC and curtain for students. The seats are also nice. The labs are also good.

An annual fest happens in every two years and it is amazing. The fresher party is also nice. The campus life is nice because of students. There is not any engagement activity that we can do. There's a gaming club of CSE department that I have knowledge it is a nice club. I have learnt many things from them. The senior of our club are very talented and helpful. The Faculty member of our club is a very great.
