LPU Jalandhar Has About 12 Departmental Libraries

My overall experience in LPU Jalandhar is average. It has balanced exposure between academics and sports. The factor that made me choose this University is that a lot of companies visit here for hiring. The syllabus which is being provided here is up to industry level and always skill up with new syllabus which makes it stand out.

I have opted for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The reason I choose this course is that IT industry is booming now days and I want to grow in it. The eligibility criteria are that you have to pass JEE Main. For further admission process of the University is that you have to appear in exam called LPU nest which can be given online or at the center. In online it is proctored and on the basis of this exam they will decide if you will get scholarship or not. If you score well you will get scholarship. Frequency of exam in this course is high and you have exams every other week. The academics prepare you enough for real life challenges.

The fee structure of my course is Rs. 3,20,000/- and I got 20% scholarship. Tuition fees is Rs. 1,60,000/- per semester and Rs. 4,000/- for exam fees is included. The hostel fee is Rs. 80,000/- and the mess fees Rs. 40,000/-. Scholarship will be provided if you have good score in JEE Main or LPUNEST University entrance exams.

Faculties are helpful and co-operative. They are mostly had their Ph.D degree and M.Tech degree. Most of them are Assistant professor. They teach from PPTs and blackboard. The faculties are very skilled in their domains. For each teacher, there are 68 to 69 students. They are very friendly and try their best to help students. My experience is also good with the faculties.

The campus of LPU Jalandhar very huge and it is about 600 acres. It is surrounded by greenery. It is safe and secure inside the campus. The classrooms are huge and it has capacity for 70 to 75 students. Library is huge and maintains strict discipline. There are also 12 other departmental libraries. There is one very large auditorium named Shanti Devi Mittal auditorium. It has its own hospital. They also have golf carts inside the campus.

My overall campus life is good. They provide basic facilities in the University. University is bit crowded. There are so many clubs and a lot of events take place like Hackathons, DJ Night, Car Shows and Coke Studio Concert where Sunidhi Chauhan was invited.
