The Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar has a modernly designed campus which consists of advanced facilities for all students including differently-abled. The University has taken several sustainability initiatives like waste recycling, energy conservation, and so on.
The LPU Jalandhar has a campus area of around 600 acres. The facilities that are provided to the students at the LPU campus are spacious smart classrooms, library, auditorium, laboratories, sports facilities, hostels, cafeteria, etc.

Furthermore, there are 2 auditoriums namely, ‘Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium’ developed on an area of about 3211 square meters & ‘Uni-Auditorium’ spread across 850 square meters. The seating capacity of the auditorium is of around 2500 individuals. Additionally, there are 3000-seater 2 amphitheatres with an area of 2440.65 square meters.
Other facilities at LPU campus include a semi-indoor ‘Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis’ of 14,400 square meters with a capacity of about 20,000 students, around 61 ICT-enabled seminar halls, piazza of 3 lakh square feet, and 2 lakh square feet of paved exhibition space.

- Library: A 5-storied fully-automated central and around 10+ departmental libraries that are air-conditioned are present on-campus. The libraries are developed on an area of about 10,000+ square meters and consist of more than 20,00,000 books, 30,000+ journals, over 2000 newspapers, around 800 magazines, several rare books, special reports, etc.
Moreover, there is a digital library with approximately 150 systems which provides access to e-resources such as 20,00,000+ e-books, 30,000+ e-journals, over 800 e-magazines, and around 11 databases. In addition to this, documentation services, reference services, Inter-library loan facility, reading hall etc. are present at the library.
- Laboratories: At the University, there is a world-class computer laboratory consisting of Apple iMac workstations and various other computer labs with advanced facilities are also present at the premises. Moreover, more than 400 laboratories are present in departments like Agriculture, Computer Science and Engineering, and others.
Aviation lab, Surveying lab, Laser Cutting lab, Psychology lab, Metrology lab, and Chemistry lab are some of the labs present in different departments of the University.
- Sports: The LPU campus has ‘Shanti Devi Mittal Indoor Sports Complex’ covering an area of about 10,621 square meters. The world-class facilities for indoor sports present at the complex are around 3 Swimming Pools, 20+ Lane Shooting Range, 10+ Badminton Courts, 1 Basketball Court, 5+ Squash Courts, etc.
Moreover, outdoor sports facilities include playgrounds spanning across an area of around 77,237 square meters. The playground comprises facilities like Cricket Ground with 3+ practice pitches, a Football Ground, about 3 Handball Courts, 2+ Volleyball Courts, and several others.
- Hostel: The University campus has residential facilities for male as well as for female students with standard (AC / Non-AC) and apartment (AC) rooms. The hostels can accommodate around 24,000 students. At the LPU Jalandhar Hostel, facilities such as a mess, gym, indoor sports, in-house laundry, medical assistance, recreational areas, and many more are available for the students.
- Cafeteria: The University has eating joints / cafeterias and various food outlets such as Dominos, Café Coffee Day, La Pinoz Pizza, etc. at its multi-storied mall to cater to the diverse range of food needs of the students. Moreover, convenience stores and vending machines are available for students to grab quick snacks.
- Transportation: There are approximately 40 vehicles including a fleet of buses that is utilised to commute students with safety and security to the LPU campus.
- Healthcare Facility: The LPU Jalandhar campus has a Health Centre / Hospital with more than 40 doctors, 20+ beds, etc. to provide round the clock medical services to the students. Moreover, the University has tie-ups with around 25 hospitals and has 4+ ambulances for facilitating emergency medical care to the students.
- Gymnasium: The University has around 2 indoor gyms of around 1394 square meters, and 10 open-gyms of more than 1723 square meters of area, enhancing the holistic development of students.
- Banking: The LPU campus has 5 branches of banks i.e., ‘SBI’, ‘ICICI’, ‘PNB’, ‘HDFC’, and ‘KVB’. All the banks provide ATM facilities with the first four offering banking facilities as well. In addition to this, postal & courier services are provided to the students.
