Student Life at Lovely Professional University Jalandhar

Overall Rating
My overall experience in this University is decent. Academics, faculties, extracurricular activities, and placements everything is fine. if they are serious and focused on their career and goals then they will get the opportunity but if they are just willing to join for fun and not focuses on academics and other stuffs then they will face difficulty surviving here as the lifestyle here is a bit exhausting so you need to be ready for that.
 

Academics Rating
So I'm a 2nd year B.Tech CSE student and I chose this course as I was interested in it. After spending 3 semesters in this University, I can say that the curriculum is pretty decent. 1st year sets your base and 2nd year onwards you deep dive into the world of Computer Science. About tests are exams, you would have to give one in every month. It also differs for every subject but generally 2 to 3 CAs (class tests) are conducted, then there are mid-term and end-term examinations.
My fees (batch of 2029) is Rs. 84,000/- per semester, after getting 40% scholarship via LPUNEST score. Otherwise, the actual fees was Rs. 1,40,000/-. They provide Scholarships to almost every eligible student.
 

Faculty Rating
I got decent faculties in my case in all the 3 semesters. Mostly, the staff include professors who are Ph.D degree holders, deans, and academic heads. Some of the teachers are also having industry experience. A few of the faculty members are from NITs and other good Institutions are well. All the faculty members are really friendly. They always encourage us to engage in the class and always open for academic or non academic doubts.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are decent. If you work harder in improving their skills, students can secure jobs with starting package of 7 LPA to 8 LPA and highest CTC of up to 15+ LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Residential facilities are provided by the Lovely Professional University Jalandhar. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Every hostel has its own mess (mess food tasty but quality varies per hostel but in my case GH2 food was really nice). Tuck shops, saloons, canteens, and other necessary things are available in almost every hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Best part about this University is the infrastructure. It’s really so good as every facility that you wish, be it labs, mall, hospital, gym, stadium (indoor and outdoor), gaming zone, and lush green parks are present within the premises. Early morning, you take a walk around the campus & it feels so good.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life at the LPU Jalandhar is pretty good. Crowd of the campus is mixed as lots of students are there so you will find every kind of person and it's important that you find serious ones. There are n number of clubs and societies present here, like you name the activity you want to do and you will find a dedicated club for it. Various student organisations are there where you can learn how to manage the things and maybe you will spend your best moments here also. Fests & other activities like shows, hackathons, etc. are held.

The facilities they provide, the value for money that they give and when I see my friends studying in different University and paying more fees then me and getting less facilities then I then I realize that how good of a University LPU Jalandhar is.     This University has a totally different environment. It gives a great experience in studying along with a correct guidance for personality development. I have particularly chosen this one due to its resources. It also has great lab resources for researchers. Every faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful.     LPU Jalandhar is honestly a mixed bag. The campus is beautiful and feels so much alive which makes daily life enjoyable.
