Hansraj College B.Sc Review By Jatin Chahal

My overall experience at Hansraj College is decent. I have chosen Hansraj College because I have heard about it a bit. As I was an IIT aspirant, I was preparing for JEE mains by online medium. I cleared the mains exam cut off but didn't appeared for JEE advance and because I was already a dropper I choose to give CUET in 2023 and got nearly 97 - 98 percentile in each subject. You can choose this college as it has everything good. But if you ask my experience then it is normal means decent.

So if you want to take admission in this college so then you have to qualify CUET which is known as Common University Entrance Test Examination. You have to score the best marks in this examination because if you want to take admission in Hansraj College. Because this is a prestigious institution of India. Requirement eligibility is: 1) You must appear in those exams in CUET, in which you have passed your class 12th (this is important). 2) You must appear in one language and 3 domains, GT For taking admission in B.Sc physics hons. For research you can join Hansraj College by clearing CUET.

Faculty members are of good educational background. Majority of the peoples have done M.Sc, Ph.D, B.Tech + M.Sc, and so on. Many are researcher here who is teaching you. They teach on board as usual in every school and college. In B.Sc Hons. you have assistant professors and professors to teach you.

Delhi University has its own Placement Cell. My college has Placement Cell but as you know that B.Sc physics has the least chances of placement.

Hostel is not provided to everyone, it is only provided to those who are actually very far from college. They do not provide hostel to everyone even they don't provide hostels to NCR students.

Infrastructure is excellent. Hansraj college you may don't know but it is one most beautiful college in whole university of Delhi. Many colleges like SRCC, Hindu College, Kirori Mal College, etc. are also having good infrastructure but Hansraj College is on fire. It has canteen which is good and a cafe whose name is mitti cafe which is also so good.

My overall campus life is good. It has many fests which are held occasionally and frequently. Like its main annual fest is confluence which is held every year. It has many societies. For example Nistha society is the society for UPSC aspirants and this is only one example it has many more societies. It has many clubs as well. It is also good for sports but not that good in case of sports. Many Motivational sessions are also arranged frequently to motivate students.
