Hansraj College New Delhi has an Anti Ragging Committee

I joined Hansraj College New Delhi last year and I would not be lying if I said it was the best thing that happened that year. I am currently a first-year student and have started my second semester. I would definitely recommend this College to students who are aiming for growth in their career as well as personality. The College is strict when it comes to order and discipline.

I am currently enrolled in the B.Com (Hons.) course. To get enroled in this course you have to give the CUET exam and secure a high cutoff of around 99 percentile. I scored 909/1000 in CUET 2025 and the cutoff of my College was 901. Moreover, in B.Com (Hons.), only one exam is conducted at the end of your semester and it is important to maintain a good CGPA.

Faculty is quite good at HRC New Delhi. There are many professors who not only teach well but also provide valuable guidance to the students. In the Accounts class, they mostly teach on Blackboards but for other subjects, they also include PPTs and Group Discussions. Overall faculty is decent. You can discuss and share your problems with them & they will try to solve your problems

I don't know about the hostel facilities of the College as as I live in PG in Kamla Nagar. I feel so grateful because my College is only 10 minutes away from my PG and this location is very good.

Hansraj College New Delhi has one of the best and modern infrastructures. Dont get me wrong, I chose this College mostly because of two options one was its Commerce department is big & other was its infrastructure. We have fully functioning Air-Conditioners in every Classroom. Moreover, other facilities include Library, Labs, Cafes, Canteen, etc. My favourite place is Library. I really like my College's library as in exams, I use to study there only and it has very good vibes.

Campus life is good. The College crowd is top notch and everybody is quite competitive. We have a lot of societies and some of them provide real life exposure. I am currently part of 3 socities. I must say if you are going to College, in your first semester you need to join socities. This is because it will give you a very different kind of exposure and some great friendships. Moreover, we have fests and events organised every year and all of them are fun. There is also an Anti-Ragging Committee. My experience at this College has been amazing.
