Overall Rating
My College comes at 12th in NIRF ranking. It’s among one of the top Colleges of Delhi University. The exposure and the faculty everything makes it unique. The moment I entered this College I knew there is something different here. Celebrity like Shah Rukh khan is alumni of this College. My College has a special cafe known as mitti cafe which is run by and for disabled people. Hansraj College has many societies which gives students a chance to work on their talent and passion.
 

Academics Rating
My course is English (Hons.) and I always wanted to pursue this course as I write novels. I have major interest in reading, writing, and learning about literature. CUET is required to take admission in any DU regular College. I gave CUET and cracked north campus. In my first allotment list I got Hansraj College. One can give CUET after 12th Standard. The academics here is good and competitive. The students here cracked the same paper you cracked and they are the topper of their schools so there is a cut throat competition. This College prepares you well enough for the upcoming life.
My tuition fee is around Rs. 27,000/- per year. There are scholarship and financial aids given to students who are in need. We have to give the exam fees per semester separately.
 

Faculty Rating
In my department the teachers are pretty chill as they are approachable and they are very experienced too. They take lectures and make various things interesting. In my class there are 120 students and around 10 to 12 professors in the department. The teachers are cooperative too.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell is also there in Hansraj College which works quite nicely. It is basically run by students and they also run placements drive. The companies that came in our College are United airlines, Deloitte, etc. The highest package in 2024 was 23 LPA and the average was around 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College offers residential facilities but in my opinion it is average. The girls’ hostel is renovating so I guess the hygiene and washroom will improve.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are total three blocks: A, B, and C block, one more block is under construction. The College has a sitting area known as LP and canteen. The College also has food station, Amul, and Nescafe. Overall the infrastructure of campus is top notch. The Library is aesthetic and prettiest one could ever imagine but the auditorium is small. The College also has a sports complex. My favorite place in the whole College is library and it compliments my course too.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is good. Students of this College are also good. The College gives you exposure to learn and grow. They also organise events and annual fests which are quite fun. The books are also there to engage students. The crowd of the College is pretty chill. You will see some people playing guitar in the LP and some dancing near the cafe its pretty fun. The societies such as Dramsoc, Enactus, and many others are also there.

    If you want to do B.Com Hons. and BA Eco Hons. Or combination of commerce and eco, Hansraj is the best choice for sure. You will get help from seniors, great infrastructure and some good teachers as well. Societies add to this a lot.     Above average college with small and beautiful campus. This college provides very good exposure in all fields like sports, science, dance, etc. Seniors are very supportive regarding academics and any college related queries.
