Sharda University B.Tech Review By Suraj Maurya

Taking admission in the Sharda University was the best decision of mine as it is considered as the best private university in whole Noda. They have good facilities and every other day, there are events organized which gives the high exposure to students. Even the dull and boring student gets to live a good college life in Sharda. They have got the Sharda Hospital and the students and faculties get a huge discount there. There are various courses available in the university and all of them are good. The nursing department gets to work in the Sharda Hospital only as an intern and for practicing.

The good thing about the Sharda university is that they give the students more than 1000 of scholarship in various regions including the academic and the number is increasing every year. I am in second year of B.Tech in CSE and with more than 8 CGPA, I’ve grab a scholarship as well. There are more than 50 students in a single classroom and not everyone’s doubts are cleared. But still if you are a studious one then the university has various real labs where you can get the practical knowledge. The university is mainly focused on the exposure to real world than fulfilling their academic needs. It does not matter much how much you score; you will be getting a placement in the end. On the plus side, there are students from the foreign countries as well.

The faculty of the university is very well educated as most of them have done their post graduations. Most of the faculty there are young and thus friendlier with the students which makes the environment for the students from various background to adjust easily. The professors are ready to help you at any time, but they will not be guiding you unless you go and ask them personally. For more than 200 courses offered by the university, there is an increase in the number of faculties every year. The faculties are hardworking and will leave no stone behind keeping their syllabus ahead.

The university has the average package of 3.05 LPA and only good students get to sit in the placement rounds. The students who have got the back and have scored less than 6 CGPA will not be allowed to sit in the placement and are forced to apply outside the college campus for the job. They organize the personal development classes every year and then to enhance the skills in the students. They also make students to enroll in the College to Campus (C2C) program so that they can be prepared to enter the corporate world and adapt the environment.

The hostel is way more expensive than the other private universities in Noida and they offer good and airy rooms with AC and wi-fi but the food quality is not good as expected. When you are opting for the hostel during your admission time, then you will be asked for the veg or non – veg food. But after the fees is submitted, you will be entered into their terms and conditions. You will not be allowed to enter in the non – veg mess but the non – Indian students will be allowed and will be allowed to enjoy the good quality of food as well.

The Sharda university is extended across 63 acres of land in total and is greenery with the trees and garden all around. Along with good education and opportunities, you will be getting pure air to breathe in. There are 13 building with various courses and there is a hospital as well where the fee is very low. You got to enjoy good food in the college campus which is in the various corner of the building. There is a security check up at every gate of the building and no student from outside can enter without any important reason.

The campus life in the Sharda is amazing and every student gets to enjoy the good college life and various other opportunities. The only drawback is that they must maintain 75% attendance in each subject otherwise they will be fined 5000 INR and will not be allowed to give semester exam unless they pay the fine. The faculties and the students are needed to have their pass provided by the college every time they enter the building or else, they will not be allowed easily to enter the college. They have cultural fest, live concert and college tour organized every year.
