JGMMMC Hubli is Affiliated to KLE University Belgaum

The experience at this College is been a mixed until now. Looking into every aspect of College I would state that academics are the best here. Highly qualified lecturers and a comprehensive academic schedule helps students to cope up through vast Medical syllabus. The main reason to join this College is the reputation it carries with the head institution being KLE. The best thing about this College being its academic strength.

I have been studying MBBS in this College since past 3 years. I aspire to work as a healthcare provider in future. The eligibility for admission in this College is that one should pass the merit rank through NEET UG exam conducted by NTE. After the entrance exam, aspirants have to undergo counselling and choose the College in option selection and if he/she passes, the merit admission is granted. There are 3 internal and one final University exam every year. Academics in this College are extremely helpful to become a successful doctor in future.

The fees for a year are Rs. 16,40,000/-per year (for 4 and half year) Scholarships are provided for reserved category students.

All the faculties here are highly qualified with MBBS degree and minimum of 10 years of teaching experience. Teaching is majorly by presentation method through PPT. Sometimes group discussion and self directed learning sessions are also conducted. There are more than 10 faculties in each department, which make teacher to student ratio to be 1:20. Faculties response positively to all the doubts and solve all questions of students. Teachers are very approachable and friendly.

College has separate hostels for girls and boys. All rooms are in double occupancy. Mess food is decent with both North and South Indian options in food. Mess food contains Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks, and Dinner. Hostel fees are Rs. 1,20,000/- per year.

The new campus is still under construction. There are 2 blocks of academic building and each has 6 floors. Two departments are there at each floor. There are 8 lecture halls with digital screens and air conditioning. Seating capacity is 200 students per hall. There is a fully equipped library with all necessary facilities. There are small demo rooms for group discussions. There is a huge auditorium and a conference hall. My favorite thing in the campus is the digital library.

Overall campus life has been a mixed experience until now. I have enjoyed the campus life by playing games and sports with friends. Our College crowd is very active and makes every College event interesting. There are clubs like sports club, anti-ragging cell, cultural club etc. Every year there are some fests and events organized such as cultural fest called kayos and sports events. There are also intercollegiate sports and cultural events conducted in the College. My experience is that I have enjoyed my College life with friends by participating in all events and sports.
