Review About Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri

Overall Rating
Hi all, I am a B.Tech (Artificial Intelligence and machine learning) student from chandigarh group of colleges jhanjeri (Batch 2020-2024). So the journey started when during covid I reserved the seat for AIML. Overall college is good as no other college was providing AIML in 45k per semester fees. So getting admission here was a good call.
 

Academics Rating
My fee was 45k per sem. For first 2 years i.e. 4 semesters we didn't have syllabus for AIML. We are following the same syllabus as CSE. If you have 70% in 10, 12, B.Tech you will be eligible for almost all companies. Maintain a 70%+ marks in exams as below it won't make you eligible for all drives in placement.
 

Faculty Rating
Then in 5th semester we got a new syllabus for AIML and new faculty was hired in college. Things went good then the placement season started it was pretty good. Faculty is good according to fees. You have to do self learning a lot.
 

Placement Rating
For B.Tech choose one programming language (C++/JAVA) and be confident on it. Placement for our batch was not up to the mark as market condition was not good during this phase. So approx half batch was unplaced.
 

Infrastructure Rating
When I took admission there were only 3 building but during our batch time college grew so fast. They got NAAC A+ rating and 2 new buildings were constructed during this phase. Campus is small not that big but overall it's good. But if you don’t have money issue prefer Chitkara university over college Jhanjeri.
 

Campus Rating
Overall it is a good college and we can take it as a sub branch of CU (Chandigarh university) as for on campus drives we have to go CU for placement drives and CU is little partial for CGC student's. If a company wants’ to hire 100 students. 70 will be from CU. 20 From College land ran and 10 from College Jhanjeri.

    It is an amazing college with an outstanding infrastructure. Chandigarh Group of Colleges have three branches in Mohali. Jhanjeri branch is located in the outskirts of the city giving an exceptionally good environment to study. Special care of extra-curricular activities is taken apart from the regular curriculum that helps a student to develop inside out. College has an A+ certificate by NACC.
