It is an amazing college with an outstanding infrastructure. Chandigarh Group of Colleges have three branches in Mohali. Jhanjeri branch is located in the outskirts of the city giving an exceptionally good environment to study. Special care of extra-curricular activities is taken apart from the regular curriculum that helps a student to develop inside out. College has an A+ certificate by NACC. It is awarded best business school in North India award in 2020.

The admission procedure is quite simple you just have to secure considerable marks in JEE to get admission in the college in your favorite stream or course. The college provides direct admission to 75% and above holders. The college management has always been helpful in every case. There is a separate council to guide a student in any payment or the admission process. It is a private college affiliated under PTU. The courses offered are both UG and PG. The mode of educated in offline as well as online is certain courses.

I joined the Bachelors of Technology in the year 2016. To get into the college I have given JEE entrance exam and secured a decent score there. This helped me to get into college and get computer science as my stream. I have had an interest in Computers since childhood and was curious to learn more. The course was exactly according to my expectations. I was able to learn everything from the scratch. The knowledge and the experience of the faculties in the college especially in computer science were exceptionally good. They have helped me in every possible way to achieve my goals.

The faculties apart from the computer science like were also very good. They helped me to gain confidence even the interviewing skills are also taught in the course. The teacher kept in the mind all the skill set that would help the student to excel me their lives. The course was very useful for my future. I got a campus placement in a very good company that helped me grow financially. Apart from the course but also the skill I learned in the college was very useful.

Chandigarh Group of College, Jhanjeri campus has 20 faculties in my course. The overall number of faculties in the college will be around 100 approximately. Each teacher has high teaching experiences. Except a few that are in each of the colleges.

Every teacher is well experienced and has a good understanding of their subject. The teacher not only has a piece of good knowledge about the subject but also life. They have more than 5 years of experience. The Head of Departments is mostly a PhD. or Masters' of Technology.

Comprehensive training is provided by college faculties as well as the outside companies or the organizations are called to give the training to students. The quality of the training provided by the colleges is top-notch. The placement cell has a Training and placement program that was conducted by the college that provides the training to the students apart from the academics studies. The training includes English, basic grammar, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, programming languages, soft skill, and overall personal development. The placement cell conducts various self-enhancement programs that improve the personality of the student and make them future-ready.

The companies that visit the colleges include Google, HCL, Microsoft, Excentrix, Bank of America, IBM, and other top MNCs. The college has exceptionally good placement. CGC offers 100% placement that is more than expected. The highest package received is around Rs. 35 LPA which is commendable. The studious student always gets out of the college with a high package in their hand. The average package here is around Rs. 7.00 LPA which is good when compared to the other colleges of India. According to 2019 statistics, 600+ companies visited the campus which is a huge number. All the credits of the placement go to the placement cell that conducts many rounds of pre-placement training sessions to make the students mentally ready to sit in the placement. My batch got 100% placement as far as I know. No one was left that was not placed from my batch. Everyone got placed in a very good company before they had their graduation degree in their hands.

Yes, the hostel is provided and has a sufficiently large capacity of around 400. Even the charges of the hostel is quite affordable. The hostel has facilities like air coolers in each room, 24*7 power supply is provided with a Wi-Fi facility. The indoor and outdoor games are available in abundance with 24*7 medical supports for any kind of emergencies. The security and the laundry services are also provided but that is optional and after some additional payment. The Gym facilities are also provided inside each hostel. Girls and boys have separate hostels at two corners of the campus with tight security there.

The fee was around rupees 40 thousand per semester that make to Rs. 80k per year which is not much as compared to the facilities they provide us. All variety of food is available in the mess which is included in the hostel fee. The quality of the food is good and provides a variety of options in the food. The student does not get bored of the food provided in the mess easily. The security in the college is quite good. The guards are placed in duly 24*7. The other facilities include the library which is heavily loaded within the books always. You can get every book here ranging from fiction to non-fiction to course books.

The college has an exceptionally large area with high-quality infrastructure. It was established in 2012. It offers many courses and is establishes in foothills of Shivalik. There are 5 buildings and Classrooms are highly spacious and very clean. The library is very large with a lot of books and equipped with computers and Wi-Fi. There are many laboratories like physics, chemistry, computer science, and many others.

The auditorium is high class with a large sitting capacity. For entertainment, purpose there is 2 playgrounds with the separate court for various sports. The medical and Emergency Facilities are really good. The college has collaborations with doctors and hospitals that is a plus point. Even there is a certain medical staff that is permanently in the college.

Campus life was amazing and I completely enjoyed it. It is the hub where the students from different states meet and has an amazing cultural blend. The students belong from various parts of India but also foreign students. There is no limitation to the clubs a person joins. The limitless opportunities are waiting for the students at their doorsteps.

Human growth is tremendous. Even an introverted person gets his favorite bunch of people here. The fest is regularly organized to give students the flavor of entertaining and change their environment. Even famous celebrities are invites to such a fest. I would highly recommend the college to others.
