Chandigarh group of colleges Landran

Overall Rating
I am in my 3rd year and my experience till now is not too bad but also not too good. I came to Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran by seeing its placement ratio. Earlier its placements were good but now as the emergence of AI technologies, the market is crashing and so the placements are also going down. The college studies and overall experience has been good for me and I think you should also come to this college.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.Tech in computer science at Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran which is an important and trending area. I think as per the current scenario I chose it. The eligibility for this college is that if you have good marks in your 12th then you can apply here. The exams are held regularly after every second fortnight and then a final exam of a semester is held. The academic is good but I think it is a bit outdated.
The fee of my course at Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran is Rs.1,00,000 per year and it is increasing per batch. This is the tuition fees, the transport fees and hostel fees are not included in it.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my course are good and most of them are Ph.D holder. There is hybrid learning with sometimes using board or other times through PPT’s. There are 60 students in my class and there are two sections that make it 1:30 teacher-student ratio. The teachers are approachable and are not too strict. They are not too lenient with the students. If the students go to them with a problem then they’ll solve it.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell at Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran which helps the students in placements activities by teaching skills required. The skills required include aptitude skills, technical skills, communication skills and many more personal skills. The placement ratio is around 75-80 percent and the average package is of around 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are hostels in Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran. The fee for the same is 1,30,000 per year and there are 4 boys’ hostels and 1 girl’s hostel. The mess food is as usual not so good but also not too bad. I am staying in a nearby PG.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran infrastructure is good. It offers quite a no. of facilities including eating and hanging out spots here and there. Library is good and peaceful offering a wide number of books. Canteen, sports and medical facilities are also good with experienced professionals in charge of these facilities. The class has a seating capacity of around 60 students. The favorite thing about the college is the fests and the gym.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is good. The crowd at Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran is as there is in any other college. There are various clubs focusing on many activities such as art, technology, AI and many more. You can join them if you are interested and want be part of various activities organized by them. There are many fests organized in the college from time to time and also events related to culture, sports, etc.

    Chandigarh group of colleges is way better in studies then other colleges. Teachers here are strict as well as kind. The Infrastructure is impressive and quality education is provided in the college. I don't think other colleges really focus on studies. As long as studies are considered they focus on student’s personal growth by participating in events and always motivating them whenever there is a need.     For the students who are looking for private colleges, CGC Landran is a decent choice for B.Tech and other courses like BCA, MBA, Hotel Management, etc. When I took admission in this college, I came to know that it is situated in a developed city.     CGC is the college with vast variety and opportunities for the future. The training and education here is amazing. The teachers are very supportive. Many events are held here on a big level. The fee structure of this college is approximately 1 lakh with no extra fee for curriculum activities.
