My College Life in CGC Jhanjeri

Overall Rating
CGC Jhanjeri does well in academics and teachers are good too. It conducts a lot of fest and events for the entertainment of students and conducts various conferences and science fairs plus education trips to increase their knowledge.
 

Academics Rating
I a pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. In my course, it teaches really well and follows PCI rules. Admission procedure is easy. Exams are conducted in every two months. The university exams are held at the end of semester. They are really tough.
The fee structure is different for each department. Mine is Rs. 60,000 per semester. It does take extra charges in each semester for events and fests plus for placement & other things.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is well qualified. Most of the teachers have done Master’s and some have done PhD. They are good, helpful and coordinating. They solve your doubts, even if you ask them in the middle of the night. They asked us to solve PYQs which help during the university exams. We have smart boards for us to study.
 

Placement Rating
Placements services are not up to the mark and can be improved.
 

Hostel Rating
I do not stay in hostel but my friends do. They told me that hostel life of CGC Jhanjeri is normal. Students can also stay in PGs and flats outside the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is well maintained. It has an aesthetic vibe. We have library in each department which contains books of that course plus books for other courses as well. We have a football ground and baseball court along with medical emergency room and an ambulance which is available 24/7. College bus is also provided for students who stay far from college. We have 6 canteens in total ,excluding the one in the hostel.
 

Campus Rating
College life is average. Students need to be attentive with their studies. It also has few strict rules. It conducts annual fest and events in gap of two to three months. It does have many clubs for various activities.

    Well starting with my overall experience. It is very good and I really loved studying here. I choose this college because my siblings have also studied from here and they're doing great in their careers and I also want to do the same thing in my life that's why I've chosen this college.
