College Review on MSIT

Overall Rating
MSIT is top 3 under IPU colleges it's is reputed college and the faculty is good if you are doing B.Tech from MSIT you will not regret it but it's infrastructure is not as many other engineering college it's just of 8 acres and 75% is also mandatory but you can maintain up to 50-60% overall the college is good placement is decent and you can take admission in MSIT.
 

Academics Rating
MSIT offer B.Tech but you can take admission in MSI for other courses. In B.Tech there are basically four branches (computer science, information technology, electronics and engineering, electrical engineering ) your can also apply for others courses like BCA, BBA, B.COM, MBA, LLB, in MSI. For getting admission into B.Tech you have to give JEE exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty was good you can ask your doubts in class they are very helpful and you can also make your good contacts with many of the teachers and they are also very helpful. The overall faculty members of the are good and someone of them are not but it's natural it's up to you that how you can related with you faculty
 

Placement Rating
Placement of MSIT was quite good you can get up to 7-8lpa as an average package and last to last year more than 2 students get 1.3 cr package they are eke branch and if your are good at studies and have some skills you can easily get a decent salary package.
 

Hostel Rating
I rented a flat so I can't tell you about hostel Life in Mist but many of my friends are from hostel they say that hostel life was average and food is always as hostel. Curfew time for boys is 9:30 pm and for girls is 7 pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of MSIT was not that good it is of only 8 acre and you cannot find any other ground including only one common ground. The infrastructure of MSIT was very old and poor. For B.Tech department there is only one building and for other there is MSI's block you can fine one canteen near Mist gate for my opinion I will give only 2/10 in infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life in MSIT is not so amazing as compared to other colleges but you can say that it's a normal campus life. You find a better environment and crowd much society like dance, music, drama, entrepreneurship, coding and many more. Basically you can find a good crowd in this college and creative people.

    I had taken admission in Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology in 2020. I am feeling blessed that I have chosen this college to pursue my Bachelor’s of Technology degree. This college runs in 2 shifts i.e. morning and evening shifts. Both shifts have different teachers so you get energetic teachers in both the shifts.     The locality where the college is located Janakpuri is a very nice area with very low crime rate and very good housing and PG facilities within 1 km range of the college at very reasonable prices. Metro facility is also available within 1 km of the college and it is a highly safe area for girls. The fees is also very low compared to other college for B.
