Overall Rating
Life in Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology is pretty average. You can make the most of your time here by participating in numerous clubs and societies such as Photography, Finance and Environmental Debate.
 

Academics Rating
I applied for Information Technology stream in B.Tech. I chose this course because of its relevancy with the current technology of industries. I want to align my skills with new demands. Eligibility includes having minimum 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry And Math in HSC. The exam questions are of average difficulty, you can score well if you pay attention towards the studies. It is advised to work over the skill development on a personal level.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers are mostly PhD and M.Tech graduates. They use traditional teaching methods but everything is well scheduled.
 

Placement Rating
The placement opportunities at institute are quite good. If you have the right skills, there are many opportunities available. Each year, numerous companies, including major multinational corporations, visit our institute for recruitment. Last year, the highest package offered is 50 LPA from Zomato, while the average package is around 7 LPA. Approximately, 70% students get placed.
 

Hostel Rating
I opted for a hostel because I am another state. There aren't many seats available, so first preference is given to the students of other states. The registration process takes few hours only if you have every document needed. The rooms and corridors are well cleaned every day. The mess is located in the ground floor of the hostel and it's well maintained. The hostel food is decent, meals are good, and the price is quite reasonable (about 105 rupees for 3 meals a day).
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure and sanitation are well maintained. Everything is kept neat and clean. However, campus area is quite small and has limited infrastructure. There is a canteen in the institute premises. The facilities of the campus such as sports can be improved in future.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average. However, the crowd is exceptional. The peer groups are amazing, friendly and helpful. There are several clubs, in which you can participate. Anyone can join these clubs starting from freshers after giving audition. There are two major fests of the institute: technical fest named ‘Genesis’ and cultural fest is named ‘Evansis’.

    MSIT is top 3 under IPU colleges it's is reputed college and the faculty is good if you are doing B.Tech from MSIT you will not regret it but it's infrastructure is not as many other engineering college it's just of 8 acres and 75% is also mandatory but you can maintain up to 50-60% overall the college is good placement is decent and you can take admission in MSIT....     I had taken admission in Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology in 2020. I am feeling blessed that I have chosen this college to pursue my Bachelor’s of Technology degree. This college runs in 2 shifts i.e. morning and evening shifts. Both shifts have different teachers so you get energetic teachers in both the shifts.   • MSIT an college where hope is there for you

    The locality where the college is located Janakpuri is a very nice area with very low crime rate and very good housing and PG facilities within 1 km range of the college at very reasonable prices. Metro facility is also available within 1 km of the college and it is a highly safe area for girls. The fees is also very low compared to other college for B.
