A Review On GLS University

Overall Rating
One of the finest colleges in Ahmedabad. The courses they offer are really good, the faculty is highly trained and experienced, the labs are very good and the campus is great. The campus has many facilities like canteen, library and gymnasium, the location is excellent and the college experience here is great.
 

Academics Rating
The labs are great and there are many sessions which make the learning good. The faculty is great and we have a good balance in theory and practical’s. There's are various events and hackathons hosted which improves our learning. The placement cell is excellent and most of the students are placed big shot companies are invited for placements.
 

Faculty Rating
The teaching style of the faculty is good. Most of them are really experienced in their field. The programming we are taught is up to date mostly we are trained in theory and practicals with a balanced environment. Most of faculty has doctorate degree and teaching is started from scratch. The faculty usually helps us in doubts and guides us for our career.
 

Placement Rating
Yes they have excellent placement cell where companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Amazon etc come almost all the students are being placed our course last year seniors got an average placement of 4.5lpa and highest was 13lpa
 

Hostel Rating
Yes they have hostel facilities but I'm not aware of the details
 

Infrastructure Rating
The building is renovated recently the whole campus has almost every facility we need. Free Wi-Fi, canteen, library and gymnasium. We also have a newly renovated auditorium. All the classes are centrally air conditioned. The lab has new computers and the restrooms are maintained well. The overall campus is very clean.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs like theatre, code crafter, dance, placement etc and many events like shades are hosted here many industry exposure events like cyber shades and hackathons are hosted in our college and we have many industry visits. We also have many tech talks where alumini and industry experts address us about future and guide us. Overall campus is very good.

    Basically, I never even knew I would ever end up in a field like information technology and ending up here was beyond imagination. I was completely new to the concept of Coding and such and actually wanted to get in Bachelors of Technology but later on I ended up in the Faculty of Computer Applications and Computer Technology.     My overall experience in GLS University is decent because the education is good here. While, the campus life is also pretty good because in this University we celebrate all festivals and also focus on Study. The main reason to select this University was the specialized courses curriculum where the students can learn various computer languages and also can practice them in University lab at the same time.     The overall college performance is very good and the methods of teaching are very understandable. The faculty’s behavior towards the students is good too. The classrooms are kept very neat and clean. This college gives amazing placements.     I particularly chose GLS University because it is one of the best universities in Ahmedabad. It is near also my house. I would say others should also opt any course here because it provides detailed knowledge in every subject and each semester has different subject.     My overall experience at GLS University is awesome. All the facilities listed in their brochure are provided. I would like to suggest if anyone wants to build their career in the field of Commerce or Management than it’s highly recommend. There are facilities for playing indoor and outdoor games....
