Utkal University - A Nice University

Overall Rating
Our department is very good department. Faculty teachers are too helpful in nature and the teaching facility is very good and skill oriented and helping us to build a good career. It is a very affordable and good college across Odisha. Library has all the needed books and the infrastructure is too good.
 

Academics Rating
It is required to pass +2 with a percentage of 60 to be eligible for the entrance exam. The entrance is done by the college itself. Total 60 seats are allotted every year. It also has quota for students. Career mark 50% and entrance exam 50% mark is calculated. Its question level is very sound.
 

Faculty Rating
Our teachers are very helpful. They make us study in a very understanding way. They take proper class and also weekly presentation is done. Each month 3-4 seminar is held by department. Teacher’s Clear doubt when we reach them. Faculty teachers are very good, helpful, punctual, brilliant and very pleasant. I love my teacher.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, placement is there but very less salary placement is given.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, for boys 7 hostel and girls 6 hostel are there. Room is very good and infrastructure is astonishing.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our department consists of 2 storey building and has a very good parking and playground. It has 20 rooms and hall for exam and puja. It has good infrastructure having good garden. It has canteen inside the campus area which have foods of good quality. Park and indoor stadium is available for students.
 

Campus Rating
Here entrance have goddess Saraswati murti and is the 2nd largest university of Odisha. It has 47 departments, a 6 storey administrative building. Here fests are conducted every month by each departments, inter department cricket match and badminton etc. are held. Here blazer are provided during admission.

    Utkal University is definitely a good choice if one is passionate about clearing government exams or interested in Odisha Judicial Services.     My overall review is I would say this is a very old and reputed institute in Odisha and the environment is very good and the campus life is just awesome.     University Law College (ULC) is one of the Constituent Institutes under the oldest University of Odisha that is Utkal University.     Utkal University is the first and only University in odisha which got NAAC A+ rating. Campus is very beautiful, but maximum part is covered with trees. It focuses mainly on PG Courses.
