Honestly, I would say that this college was of my choice, so it was already on my list. I wanted to pursue Political Science Honors from a girl's college and yes, like many others my dream college was LSR. But after I came here, I am happy and I am learning so many new things here. The societies here are active in all fields and I am a part of the Hindi debating society and it is helping me in improving my personality day by day. So overall, I am glad that I got this college and hope that all those who will come here will love this college too.

My course is Political Science Honors. After 12th one is required to give the CUET exam. And even if you didn't give the exam of Political Science you can opt for this course. I would just suggest that make the preferences of colleges accurately. And if you are someone who loves garden and want to improve your personality then you should go for this college.

I would like to say that the faculty of every department has professors who are truly professional in their work. I can give you an insight of Political Science faculty. So this faculty is really amazing. Professors not only stick to syllabus but also guide us in every possible field. I agree that sometimes classes are not so regular, but I can guarantee that teacher's cover the syllabus on time.

I would say that infrastructure of the old Arts block and old Science block is not really good, maybe you'll get disappointed if you see it at first glance. But honestly the new science block has modern infrastructure, spacious class and other facilities. The toilets of this block are also very clean and hygienic. However, this situation is not the same with the old buildings. Also the labs are in good condition but maybe not suitable for a class with big strength.

The fests can be a plus point of our college. The fests or any other events conducted here are very happening and they attract a good crowd. The annual cultural fest of Maitreyi College is very famous and is called Rhapsody. The star nights of the fest attracts a large crowd since a long time and had invited many stars like Hardy Sandhu, Ankit Tiwari, etc. And it is considered one of the best in the whole DU.
