My Review on West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences

Overall Rating
Firstly our institution is ICAR Allied Institute that provide 4 year professional graduation degree program. It provides a great knowledge and interest about fishes and underwater animals of this world. If anybody love the animals and have an interest with aquatic animals can get an admission in this college.
 

Academics Rating
Our course has 4 year degree program and any student who completed his 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology can get an admission in this college by ICAR exam. After selection, document verification will be done at the time of admission.
 

Faculty Rating
All the teachers of our faculty are well educated and they are from different places of India. They all completed their post doctoral and research work from the reputed universities of the world. The way of their teaching is very good and they provide both audio visual teaching process for the students.
 

Placement Rating
Placement occurs after 4 year graduation degree. Many companies like Godrej, Acrobat, Nexa and many more visit the college for conducting interviews and selecting students on the basis of their skills.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes there are separate hostels for boys and girls. Repairing of hostel things like fan, light and switch boards are also done on regular basis. A student can get all the facilities in hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
All 10 departments also have their own seminar rooms, classrooms and laboratories. Auditorium is well decorated. And our library has a huge collection of books of national and international authors based on aquatic world. Also have important journals.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is full of enjoyment. And also have clubs like sport club, cultural committee, magazine committee, mess committee etc. Annual sports and annual cultural meet held every year. Freshers welcome, orientation program, farewell, Saraswati Pooja, Holi, teacher’s day are also celebrated in the college.

    I am a student of B.F.Sc 4th year of West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences. It is very good institution, teachers are well educated and helpful. Every year at least 10-15 students get placement in various fish feed and fish products producing companies. Students can also appear for JRF exam and get a chance to study in the Central Institute of Fisheries Education, BOMBAY.     I am currently BFSc 4th year student. Our university is located in Belgachia. This University is accredited by ICAR and it is the only government facilitated fishery college in West Bengal.     Our institute is well reputed in the west Bengal. And it is basically ICAR allied institute provide B.F.Sc, dairy technology and veterinary degree. After 12th I choose this institute to know the fishes and their life so according to higher secondary marks get admission to this institute.
