The campus life is really great and very enthusiastic and the campus is in very large area. My experience of this college is excellent and it was very soothing. The campus is very beautiful and filled with nature. The reason for me to go for this college was my interest in culture of Rajasthan which is practiced here and I am really happy about my decision. The mess meals are great and authorities are co operative. The main reason for someone to come to this college would be its ranking and the ranking is due to academic excellence, placement stats, healthy and peaceful environment and of course the culture of Rajasthan.

A student's eligibility is decided by his/her JEE MAINS overall rank. Same as all the engineering colleges CSE is the highest ranked and it requires you to score highest and since the college doesn't have state quota policies you know you are in fair and tough competition. Entry in college is secured by JOSAA counseling or by DASA. JOSAA is done on basis of JEE mains rank and it also has reservation on category. DASA is for foreign students. The course I am pursuing is Civil Engineering and it has its own perks and it also allowed for competition exams. The eligibility and opening and closing ranks for all courses are available on the official site of MNIT. My motive for rolling into this program was the spirit for understanding the designing and construction of various monuments and buildings.

The teachers are really qualified and are very enthusiastic about teaching and some of them have their degrees from IITs and from foreign institutes too. Most of them have done Ph.D in their respective subjects and they are really punctual and professional about teaching. Most of them are very loving and they care about your academics and some of them care too much and that is sometimes causing for many unwanted things. The professors are really serious about teaching their respective subjects. The labs are also good but they are with some of their own flaws such as lazy lab attendants, etc.

The placements stats are one of the factors that make it a tier 1 college and they are really good. More than 100 companies visit every year in placement season which is from March to August. Placements in IT are really good and core placements are a little less but it gives many opportunities for core too. Internship is also provided here and there is a TPO which is functional by college authorities and is very helpful and plays an important role in placements of students and introducing them to various companies and for on campus placements CGPI really matters.

There are 11 boy’s hostel and 3 girl’s hostel that have all around strength of 4000+ students. The hostel life is very good and has very much ground for exploring. The boy’s hostel and girl’s hostel are apart. There are guest’s rooms available in most of the hostels. AUROBINDO and VINODINI hostels are allotted to boys for first and second year. The hostel life is mostly same with every college except the limitations are slightly less and they provide opportunities for exploring the city.

Infrastructure of MNIT is very best and such cannot be found even in many IITs. The buildings have both modern designs and heritage designs and that make it very beautiful to look at and also resemble its connection to the history of Rajasthan. There are around 15+ hostels and they are built beautifully and they give homelike vibes. There is ICICI and SBI bank in campus and a post office too. The hostels are at walkable distance from Lecture hall and labs. This college has the biggest lecture hall and it uses technology and machinery equipment for better experience of teaching. Canteen and medical facilities are also available in the college.

The college is situated in between the city and it has very good transportation so exploring outside is very easy. The campus consists of 14 hostels, lecture halls, canteen, library, sports ground medical, and 2 banks. The calendar is occupied by 2-3 major events and many small events every semester and there are cultural fests and technical fests and also a sports fest and youth fest too. The fests provide an opportunity for skill development and character development and the faculties are really supportive about participation in Fest clubs. There are many clubs as dance club, music club, chess club, and many more. The crowd at fests is mostly students and invited faculties and it is a peaceful environment. The campus is also colorful by nature as it gives nature vibes and also a healthy environment and ragging is abolished from college. There is also a student welfare department so that needy students can get help. Extracurricular activities are supported here as the curriculum is not very lengthy and it provides time for extracurricular activities. Students are not forced to wear the uniform they are allowed to wear everything considering community guidelines.
