Good College But No Assured Placements

Overall Rating
Overall experience at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science is good. You will have a good college experience but when it comes to any issue faced by students. The support from the accounts department is very bad. They will only see how to get more money from students. But apart from that you will gain strong knowledge and connections in your respective field.
 

Academics Rating
You can get any course you want if you have scored well in boards and attended the HITSEE exam. The curriculum for all the courses is up-to-date and very advanced. It makes sure students gain strong knowledge in their field as well as hands-on practical experience in their well-equipped lab facilities.
 

Faculty Rating
There are really good faculties. Willing to guide the students based on their experiences. However, not all the faculties can be generalized into one category. Few are not dedicated. But overall HIT has really good faculties that have industry experience of years and then turned into professors.
 

Placement Rating
The college does not offer 100% assured placements for all the students but if you have enough experience in your fundamentals and good aptitude knowledge you can easily clear the placement rounds and easily you can get placed. The faculties will also guide you on how to get placed in campus interviews.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure in HIT is really good. They have well-equipped labs for all departments and especially for aeronautical, they have various aircraft and separate Arrow hangers. All the classrooms are well maintained, students can access the library whenever they want books from the library. The library is very huge and contains resources for all subjects.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is really good. You will have a lot of fest cultural and weekly gigs. Where you can showcase your talent and witness others' performance. The students in Hindustan are from various states and countries so the crowd is very diverse. Also academics-wise it's really good if you gain good knowledge in your field and hands-on experience on updated technologies.

    My overall experience at HITS has been one of the best in my schooling years. The reason I chose the college was because of its massive infrastructure and the course Aerospace Engineering which is very well known here. I think anyone interested in the same course as me should definitely consider this college even if it's far off from the center- Chennai as it will be worth your every penny, time and hard work....
