Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Chennai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure of this Institute is awesome. The campus is spread over around 150 acres of land. The Institute has one of the best infrastructures. The campus has air conditioned library, laboratories, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. The canteen is also present in the campus. The classrooms have good seating capacity and the sick room is also available for the students. The Institute provides sports facilities as well for games like Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, etc.

Overall, my campus life till now is good. The campus crowd is average. There are many clubs in HITS Chennai but I am not a part of any of the club. The Institute conducts various extracurricular activities for the students. HITS has the best infrastructure. There are so many trees inside the campus, making it a green campus. It also has multiple courts for the games like football, basketball, shuttle court, etc. There is a separate building altogether for the first year students and each department has a separate building. Institute has a very beautiful library inside the campus. other amenities of the campus include super market, stationery, multiple canteens, etc.

Overall campus life is good. There are so many clubs like NCC, NSS, Rotract, etc. which are worth joining in order to gain some experience. There is also a camping in all these clubs. The campus is wide and consists of many buildings. One of the main ones being the library which is massive with a wide variety of novels and guides on various subjects with laptops for students to browse about their queries. There are a lot of canteens and snacking areas where people can sit and eat really good quality food. They have a huge ground for physical activities and a fitness center and another ground for horse riding activities. Each department has its very own block and due to its fame for aviation related concept the college has many models of aircrafts and jets, one being a huge aircraft in the very corner of the campus.

Campus Life is the best in this college as they are not very strict and make it fun for the students by introducing at least 5 events monthly as a stress buster. The event of the year, the cultural names YARONA is a blast every year filled with singing dancing racing and celebrity entries. There are a lot of extracurricular activities like sports, dancing, singing and clubs to awake interest for individuals.
