Overall Rating
This college has good reviews and good placements. They provide internships also and are not just focused on studies. They conduct functions every year. The college is quite big and you can learn a lot.
 

Academics Rating
Eligibility for this college is that you need to pass SSLC and plus two with a minimum set percentage. The fees is same for all the students but scholarships are available. There are not many requirements for entry as they don’t conduct entrance exams, you just need to submit all of the required documents for information.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is quite good and they teach quite well. They will support you for all of your activities if you study well. They will suggest you to join internships and focus on the courses which you need to study. The classes are quite different if I compare them to my plus two life. There are lots of peoples from other states.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have Placement Cell from 3rd year onwards. They create groups and provide links about placement information.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel facilities are available for both men and women. But I didn’t stay in the hostel so I don’t know much about it. Hostel fees are over 85k per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is quite good. There are separate blocks for all the departments. Canteen and juice corner are also available in college. They have separate lab classes to study and focus on technical, as well as non-technical aspects. Lots of classes are there for all the departments, with neat benches and fans. You won’t have any problem.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, my campus review is that the college is good. It gets crowded at all times because they have lots of departments and courses. All specialised courses are available now. They celebrate all the Indian festivals and conduct department wise programs every year. It was good to explore this college.

    A student opinion is most important part of knowledge for institute. An institutional behavior matters for the fulfillment of every student’s hard work. This institute is good known for its placement and campus hiring process. It is very strict and maintains proper education and minimum attendance 75%.     Overall Rating
    Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute is located in Maduravoyal, it is deemed to be University, it is reputed institute in Chennai, and the admission can only do through management quota. Fees structure is somewhat higher than other universities in Tamil Nadu. The attendance is must and necessary to complete the course you taken, lot of courses are available in engineering technology management, arts and science too.
