I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from this college. I want to share my experience. This college lacks decent facilities and infrastructure. I attempted the JEE Mains in 2021 but did not succeed. If you find yourself in a situation like mine, where options are limited, you may consider applying here. They don't have a play ground and you're not allowed to go to the library. I had some reasons at that time and believed their false promises; otherwise, I wouldn't have taken admission in this college.

GNIT provides multiple courses such as B.Tech, B.Pharma, BBA, and MBA. If you want to pursue B.Tech in this college, you have two options. First, you have to appear for the JEE Mains exam, through which you'll get admission to GNIT affiliated with IP University. Otherwise, the second option is that you'll get admission to another college affiliated with AKTU under GNIT. If you don't have any other options, then you may apply for this college otherwise I don't recommend it. If you're looking for a college which you don't have to attend regularly, then you can apply to this college. Attendance of 75% is not compulsory in this college, but you can come to college for 2 or 3 days in a week.

The faculty here isn't very good overall, but there are some teachers who are excellent. They teach regularly, have a friendly nature, and most of them either have a PhD or are pursuing one. Here, there are one or two teachers who teach well and students also attend their classes. Here, both theory and practical sessions are conducted.

Yes, there is also a Placement Cell here. But so far, not a single placement has happened. They work hard, but if companies don't come to college, how will anyone get placed? So, don't rely too much on the college and start studying from the first year so that you can apply for off-campus placements. Also, you won't get internships from the college; you have to find them yourself. If you can, great, otherwise, you might end up completing college without any internship experience.

The infrastructure of this college is not good either. There's no ground, nor any festivals. You can't even enjoy here; you're not allowed to go to the library, nor can you use the college Wi-Fi. One good thing about this college is that all the classrooms have ACs, so at least you can survive the heat.

If there are no festivals in this college, then you can understand that your college life might not be great. But you can still make friends because that option is always the best. If you're coming to this college, make sure to make friends; otherwise, you won't be able to experience college life. There are no activities in this college, just a small cultural event.
