NIE college’s environment is very good and conducive to learning. College encourages students to participate in sports and cultural activities. I joined this college because of good placement rate. This college gives real college life and good placements, so I suggest others to join this college. Since it is present in Mysore, the weather condition is very good.

In this college, there are 7 courses in B.Tech. If we get good rank in KCET exam, between 8k to 14k, we can get seat in CSE department courses. If we get 6k to 13k rank in COMEDK we can join this college. The students who join through management have to pay 14 LPA donation and every year COMEDK fee. Academically, the college provides quality education and prepares students for their career.

Faculty members in NIE college are very knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable. Many of the faculty members have completed their Ph.Ds; some of them have completed M.Tech and are studying for Ph.Ds. Mechanical and Civil faculties encourage students to participate in sports and cultural activities. College also invites guest faculty from industry or academia to enrich the learning experience and provide students with insights into real world application.

NIE college is well-known because of good placement rate. The average package is 9 LPA. The highest package is 54 LPA. 90 % of students got placed last year. Every year, more than 100 companies are visiting. Big companies like Microsoft, IBM, CISCO, Amazon, etc. also visit.

I am not staying in hostel, but hostel is there in college. Some of my friends stay in college hostel and they said that the infrastructure is not so good but food provided by hostel is good.

There are two campuses; south and north campus. South campus is main campus, its infrastructure is good and there are separate buildings for different branches. But north campus infrastructure is not so good. Libraries in both campuses are good, many books and journals are present there. There are two canteens in south campus, but in north campus there is only one canteen.

NIE college campus is not so big. Compared to north campus, south campus is big and full of trees and buildings. More than 800 students are there in this college. There are many clubs like IEEE, GDSC, ISSA, etc. ‘Technieks’ is the main college fest, along with that Auto Expo and DJ Nights are also held. Overall, the college is good.
