Overall Rating
This college is very old and has a great alumni network. It has every facility like hostel, transportation, labs etc. There is no discrimination based on states. Very friendly and loving staff. Students Fests are great as they provide opportunity for interaction between students of all the years. It is a great college to experience college life and hostel life.
 

Academics Rating
For BE degree, you must clear your schooling till class 12th. There are 3 ways to enter in the college that are KCET, COMEDK, and Management. Fees and cutoff are also reasonable that are given on the particular exam site. Maximum management fee is16 Lakhs for CSE and 8 Lakhs for Mechanical. One of the finest colleges in Karnataka and best in Mysore. Getting admission through merit based exams is competitive.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are highly qualified almost everyone is a Ph.D holder. Teachers are friendly and understand your problems even it it is related to attendance or doubts, they try to resolve them. They are not very strict and you can occasionally have fun with them as well. HODs are friendly and you can approach them anytime you want.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are the best part about our college. The maximum package went up to 55 LPA. Average package is about 9 LPA for all the branches. If we talk about CSE and related branches, it is up to 12.5-13 LPA. 300-450 companies come for campus Placement.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 3 sharing rooms but space is decent. You will get bed, cupboard, study table with reading light, one book shelf for each of 3 students, common washrooms, and mess. Food is good mostly South Indian is served. But you will get 2 days paneer and 1 day sweet and ice cream so that will compensate.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 2 campuses both are very occupied with labs and computer equipments. You can get good processor PCs at labs. Hostels have inbuilt Gym. There sports facilities available like badminton, table tennis, basketball, cricket, and every other sport except swimming pool. You will get whatever you ask from the faculty.
 

Campus Rating
It is pretty chill and there are not and serious restrictions implemented. Only thing is the out time of hostel that is 8:30 for boys and 8 for girls. But if you got the permission you can go out. Fests are there twice a year one is Tech and another one is cultural. Club events are also organised once in 2 weeks. Crowd is from all over India so you get to live with different personalities and cultures.

    I chose this college because of the various reviews from Quora and other websites which mentioned that academics were easier and that we get enough days off for us to up skill ourselves. It is an ideal place to study as there are no distractions.
