I chose this college because of the various reviews from Quora and other websites which mentioned that academics were easier and that we get enough days off for us to up skill ourselves. It is an ideal place to study as there are no distractions. The placements stats seemed good as well with the average package being 10-12 LPA which stood the same as other top colleges in Karnataka.

We have 2 internal exams of 25 marks and 2 quizzes for the main subjects and just 3 quizzes for the lighter subjects like English, Indian Constitution etc. The quizzes are online MCQs and we require making assignments or presentations for nearly all subjects. Lighter subjects are taken weekly one hour while rest range from 3-5 hours. The exams are easy and the questions practiced by the professors are mostly the ones which appear in your exams. The internals are of 1hr and two a day. Your exams get postponed a lot. Teachers do face difficulty in finishing the syllabus. Apart from this you also have to do Coursera certifications.

Few of the faculties have knowledge in the field while rest of them are boring and outdated and like school teachers who you will find no output in listening to their classes. But all of the teachers are really approachable and few of them are quite friendly and chill. It is not so different from all the other colleges as you are better of studying yourself than listening to professors. They will be there to guide your doubts patiently and allow you to explore.

Since I am a first year student I do not know much in this regard but as far as I have heard it is really good and makes you market ready. Students get PPOs in 3rd year itself and the average packages tends to be in the range of 10-12 LPA with the median being 8-9 LPA which is really good compared to other colleges.

The hostels in north campus are occupied so you have to go to the south campus. Where you have to pay extra 25k for bus facilities which takes an extra 30-40 minutes again to travel to. The hostel in itself costs 1.1lakhs and is 3 sharing. The rooms are decent and food is not too good not too bad with special meals occasionally.

The infrastructure is really terrible over at the north campus. You have one building for classes, one for labs, one canteen, two bakeries, a tea stall, a sports room, hostels and mess. A small ground for basketball and volleyball, a ground for cricket and a lot of land which is not fit for anything with no vegetation or even ground. The location of college is really bad being surrounded by factories, inaccessible by public transport and having no shops or mainstream shops and crowds overall.

The seniors at the campus are really good, helpful and supportive. You are never going to get ragged. There are students from different states of India.
