Life at Dyal Singh College

Overall Rating
My overall experience at Dyal Singh College is decent. The thing which I love the most about this college is it's sports facilities which include basketball court, football ground, badminton court, kabbadi ground, cricket ground, and many more. I chose B.Sc mathematics honours because I want to prepare for UPSC with maths as optional subject.
 

Academics Rating
My maths honours course runs on Delhi University guidelines. To get into B.Sc maths honours, in my time we just needed a good percentage in 12th from science stream but now you need to give CUET exam for getting into B.Sc course. You should opt for maths honours if you have interest in it or want to go for higher studies in this field.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in our college is top notch. All are Ph.D holders from reputed central universities. Their teaching methodology is very good; they teach theory in depth which increases the interest in the subject. They also engage in research work with the Ph.D students for better development of nation at world level.
 

Placement Rating
The Placement Cell at our college is a collaborative team of students and the college authorities which invites reputed companies from every field like finance, marketing, content writing, human resources, and many more. Companies like Deloitte, TCS, Indigo, HDFC Bank, Wipro, and many more come for on campus placement.
 

Hostel Rating
No, our college doesn't provide hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have almost 54 classrooms in our college. There is a big library where almost 1 lakh books are there, ranging from journalism to technical books. We have computer labs and science labs. We also have cafeteria, gym, medical rooms, and sports complex where cricket, badminton, football, basketball, volleyball court, and many more facilities are available.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life at this college is great. Crowd is not that much. We have various societies like Indian music society, fine arts society, film and photography society, debating society, creative writing society, western dance society, etc. Our annual cultural festival is Priyadarshini. College life is good here. College also conducts various events where famous personalities are invited.

    A south campus college of Delhi university, Dyal Singh College is famous for its location as it is near to metro station as well as college has very big campus than many other Delhi university college. Canteen of the college is also affordable and good. Our college has amphitheatre, webinar room, auditorium, etc. with a very big library and different books for different field of students.     I have joined prestigious Dyal Singh College in August through CUET entrance exam. Earlier people can take admission in it by merit but from 2022 Delhi University's administration decides to conduct entrance exam for admission in its affiliated colleges.     Its overall performance is above average. Its Placement Cell is excellent and it's campus has an excellent infrastructure. It has excellent staff and supportive teachers and a lot more opportunities are here in this college. You can expect 80% placements from the college.
