Review of Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education

Overall Rating
It's not as expected. According to NAAC and all other rankings it's really very good. But it’s just a normal college. Decent curriculum and knowledgeable staff. Campus is clean and atmosphere is good. Hostels are also good and affordable. It's overall a good campus to study and get degree in B. Tech.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are fine and course curriculum is also updated with industry standards. Labs are also good and well equipped. Exams are conducted very much frequently for all the core subjects. Industrial experts such as from companies like IBM come and teach a few subjects from the curriculum and they help us to understand subjects in industry standards.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good knowledgeable and friendly staff. Explains subject well and clarify doubt and mostly available on call in the evenings to get any doubts clarified. It's mostly useful in exam times to clarify any doubts. They mostly teach core subjects in Labs with examples which help us to gain good knowledge.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is very well maintained and labs are updated with all the equipments and classrooms are also mostly good, few are not. Overall they are good and can be improved a lot. Hostel is very good and available for a very affordable price which is very good. Hostel food is average and adjustable a bit.
 

Campus Rating
It's not so good nor not so bad. It's good and adjustable. We can get anything in the campus and food is average and adjustable. Its overall a fun and enjoyable campus with always some events taking place. A lot of food fests and musical fests also take place which are fun and enjoyable.

    My experience was very good at my Institute; it was huge as campus hostels are provided just at the same place of the campus. You do not need to travel more than 200 meters for reaching it, there are many blocks here and the placements are also very nice.     My overall experience at this institute was not bad. This university brokers had came to my college for registrations when am in my intermediate 2nd year. After their presentation about this university attracts me so I have registered by paying the fee required after 3 months they called me to join in university. The main thing is there were all telugu people only there I came here to improve communication skills by speaking with other state people but the scene is different here.... Read Full Review

    I had a great experience at my college. It has suitable facilities and is now accredited by NBA A++ with overall 36th rank in NIRF.
