How's Subharti Institute of Technology Meerut

Overall Rating
Actually there is no such reason to take admission in this college although I'm preparing for my JEE exam and I couldn't qualify it and I choose this college as a last option. My experience with this college is neither much bad nor good. I would suggest some who’s financially not good they should go for it but if you are well stable you should go for other best colleges.
 

Academics Rating
For taking admission in B.Tech CSE branch you should have 60% in PCM in class 12th. The very basic requirements are you should know at least good English which will help you in getting placed in good companies. I already told you that I have no such motive for enrolling in this college but yeah I always wanted to do B.Tech as after completing this course I can move to foreign countries.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of my college is good I can't say best but yeah some of the teachers are IIT graduate which are on higher post such as HODs and principal. Some teachers are favorite of all students and some normal. The teaching is good but sometimes they only share notes and we have to study by our own.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cells at our institute. I'm first year student I don't know much about it but I talked to our seniors they told us that placement is very low. Companies here don’t offer packages as per the expectations so they have to try for our campus placement.
 

Hostel Rating
I'm a day scholar I don't know much about hostel but all my friends are hosteller and from their respect of view I can tell that only AC hostel is best all 3 non AC are normal. And facilities like Wi-Fi and water cooler are common everywhere.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our Campus area is 250 acres and in our campus there is 4 ATM, 4 Canteen, 2 cafeteria and other food outlets. We have a very good library. We have a large area of play grounds where you can play, NCC is also available here. More than 5 auditoriums are available in our college. The college is full of greenery and trees.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is very decent I can't say best because I was not excepting to take admission in this college. My dream was IIT not this and most important I face some language issues here because there language is most kind of Haryanvi. Here so many clubs are available, I have also joined one club named drama acting club. Fest also happens often and other extracurricular activities also.

  • Life of an average student in SITE

    This college is overall average for graduation. I chose it because it was cheaper to do B.Tech in it as compared to other colleges and because it accepted BSCC scheme for admission. My overall experience here was fair enough like a typical college. Though one thing is odd here that you have to wear uniforms everyday like it's a kid's school. I personally don't like this.     I have to take admission through the SNET exam that is conducted by the University every year. If you have got above 75% marks in the examination then the fee of your course is reduced by 50%. Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut is accredited Grade A by the NAAC. The faculty of the University is very helpful. The lab at the College is good. Every branch has its own lab.   • SVSU is a little extra ordinary

    SVSU is one of the largest Universities in India. There are around 15,000 students studying at the University as around 3,000 staff including teaching and non-teaching staff stay at the campus. Subharti University Meerut has its entrance though they accept GATE scores too.
