Although I am a pass out student of the college. Before 6 months I have passed out still I have some own experience about the journey of 4 years of my college. As you will see the ranking page of the DBS college and the placement positions are high. But every bright side carries some dark side behind it. And Doon Business School is not an exception of that.

I am a B.Sc forestry student of batch 2016-20. Recently I have completed my graduation from this college. For the admission you have two options either clear the entrance or direct admission through the admission fees. In terms of the academical review the college is good enough. They will provide you an unboxing knowledge and different type of sources from them you can complete the pot of your knowledge. They have the semester based system. There are two semesters in a year and in every semester there have 2 internal and 1 external exams and a viva voce or practical exam.

This is the diamond part of the college. If day by day every year the amount of students are increasing only for the faculties. The faculties are so good and eco friendly in nature of the college. Every faculty is PhD holders and has experiences of their fields from several years. So that they have the deep knowledge and understanding of their fields and that will help you to show your target in a clear vision.

In terms of giving the placement they are extra ordinary. If you have talent to grab the opportunities then they will provide you a lot of opportunities, a lot of companies will come for placements and most of the students get the placement here. But the cons are the placement system is not available for the B.Sc students. The B.Sc seniors are still jobless.

Doon Business School hostel facilities are also available for the students. Boys and girls hostels are separate. There are two boys and two girls hostels are available. Approx 100 rooms are there in each hostel and the security guards always present in the main gate. You have to enter before 8 o'clock at night in hostel. A warden is also present to take care of the students and everyday attendance must be taken. If anyone is absent they directly do the guardian call. But the cons are food quality. The food quality is so low there, this is the major complaint section which is come from the students. But after so many complaints they are not aware about the food. One more bad side is that they charge the fine in every dispute. If you will not wear right uniform of the scheduled date they charge for it, if anything has broken by you they will charge fine, if you have late entry in the college you will also have to give fine. The fine rate is higher than the fees.

Doon Business School Dehradun covers an area of 3 acre of land. The old building is only of the business and management courses students like BBA, MBA, PGDM, B.Com and the new one have made for the B.Sc students. There also have a basket ball court to play for the students.

The overall campus life journey was awesome and full of fun and enjoyment. They will provide you a fresher's party every year the annual cultural programme known as manfest and annual game programs will be held here. By the fresher's party you can interact with the seniors and faculty to show them your talents and from the 2nd year you can join the teams of the cultural programme organizers. In the manfest the college invited celebrities every year. Here you enjoy your life with full of fun and also can learn the lessons of your life.
