DBS Dehradun From the Eyes for 2nd Year MBA Student

Overall Rating
My experience is great in this Doon Business School Dehradun, The faculties, the infrastructure, weather, events everything is just perfect. The education, knowledge, and different skills. My experience was great and still going great. If we talk about the campus life, it is also nice with great view and the events with constant participation of students.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I chose is MBA. This Institute is famous for MBA course. The eligibility for enrolling is to given CAT or other Management exams. Then, there is the PI round and the written test. The number of exams they conduct is 4 times a year that though final 100 marks. The semester is divided into quarters and trust me its way to good for students to study rather than going for 10 subjects in one go. The academics are great into his Institute, as you get not just the book Knowledge but also get chance to work on their skills.
The total tuition fees for my program was Rs. 10,00,000/- and the hostel fee is Rs. 35,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty they so nice, helpful, and educated. They shared so much knowledge with me about the life and the syllabus. If you really have any question, they will be there for you.
 

Placement Rating
The placements of my batch have not started yet. However, if we talk about my seniors so have been placed well and been working with great packages and in great companies.
 

Hostel Rating
When you talk about the hostels, it has big rooms with attached washroom and attached balcony or lifts. In addition, if you want PG's there are many PG's available near the Institute only so you don't have to search and go far.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of the Doon Business School Dehradun may look small to you but trust me that not a issue as you has facilities like AC, lifts, library, football ground, badminton and tennis court are available. It is properly maintained campus, regular events, and what not. The campus has a medical clinic, buses, and vans for transportations for students. There are 3 canteens inside the campus. In addition, if you talk about the area it is a industrial area and its safe there is security, which is available for 24/7 so your parents do not have to stress about that.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is great and I got to interact with so many people. The Institute is crowed. There are 22 active clubs in the Institute and it is important for every student to be a part of a club. There is one major fest as well. My experience is great.

    Academics at 'DBS' is not only limited to books. Being in the top 50 business Colleges, DBS has those things which are required to shape a responsible student. According to me, nothing is easy; so do the course. Without putting effort into it, you won't see colors of success.   • DBS will make you a successful future manager

    Having done PGDM from here in 2019, I can proudly recommend DBS to anyone. It is not in top 30 B-Schools but is in top-50. There are over 200k MBA aspirants every year and getting into top 10 or top 30 colleges is not possible for all. However, becoming successful is not impossible for all.   • DBS’s buzz word in no better than Innovation

    DBS is ranked outside the top 20 B-Schools in the country but is indeed one of the best in Dehradun. I also gave as many entrances, I could but failing to find required percentile for colleges like IIMs, XLRI, and others, had to be a part of DBS that had some soft corner for the students from Dehradun.     I have always believed that expecting all from college is not correct. Talking negative about our alma maters is not the right way to thank the school or colleges that have made people. DBS too have produced many stalwarts but many have remained jobless at least from the campus but without putting in effort one can’t expect everything from the college.
