Review on IIPS, DAVV

Overall Rating
Overall, the institute is pretty decent, not very good and not too bad. The primary reason of why I chose this institute was that it is a government college and has a very good reputation. Fees are decent, not too high. Faculties are good. If you are looking for a good college with low fees you can join this institute. Also, there are no strict rules for attendance. They say 75% is must but it's up to you.
 

Academics Rating
Course is designed in a well structured manner and includes only subjects relevant to the field. I gave an entrance exam CUET. To enter into any colleges of DAVV, you need to appear for this CUET and be eligible to sit in the counseling process. This integrated program seemed quite good, so I opted for it.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are pretty decent. It is a rule here that each faculty needs to be a PH.D holder. So every faculty has done a doctorate degree. They teach well. Checking is not very strict. Teachers are supportive. But some faculties are very irregular and they cancel classes without prior notice which wastes time of students.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are very average. Average package here is 5.5 LPA. Highest went to 12 LPA. You should better prepare for off-campus placements if you are aiming a high package.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are not up to the mark. Students just complaint about it. Food quality is also bad. Otherwise, there are facilities available like for grooming purpose. Also, at festivals students gather and celebrate it nicely. Washrooms are not in a good condition.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is average to poor. University campus is good, it is very huge. But the college building infrastructure is poor. There is a library inside the college where almost all the books are available which are required for the course subjects. There is another huge central library in the university which requires you to take a membership.
 

Campus Rating
There's no such campus life. But if you make good friends then you'll have one. But the campus itself does not contribute to make up your campus life. Fests are very rare. Clubs are very inactive. There are different clubs such as AWS, IT, etc. but only AWS club is pretty active rest are totally inactive.

    My overall experience at IIPS, Indore is pretty good. The faculty is nice and helpful. The institute life is also great, it focus on study as well as the extracurricular activities required for the overall development of the student. I chose this institute because it is considered to be one of the best deparments of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyalay due to its good academic records and placement rates.     It is a government institute in MP with full fee re imbursement. More, the college has a great campus and really good campus life. IIPS is the most preferred government college for the integrated course in MBA as it was the first college to start this program. It is one of the top colleges on the whole DAVV campus....
