My college - Midnapore College

Overall Rating
The college has a proper infrastructure and all necessary facilities for the students. Mess food quality is also good. This college is Autonomous so student doesn’t have to travel another college for their examination. And also a ragging free college.
 

Academics Rating
My course is M.Sc Microbiology. This course is applicable for biology students. This course leads you to research industry or research institute. For this course you need to have science stream and biology as your main subject and minimum 60% then you are eligible for this course. If you do this course then you get chance to do research about industry and institute.
 

Faculty Rating
Our college professor is too good. They are very frank to the students and very humble to the students. Maximum professors have completed their Ph.D. Some did there Ph.D from IIT and some did there Ph.D from local college. But more than that they are too good in teaching.
 

Placement Rating
We don't have any placement cell at our college for B.Sc microbiology.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we have residential facilities in our institute. Our hostel has total 70 seats. PG UG both. Here one is allotted to 3 students. And 2 meals that are lunch and dinner are provided to the students of the hostel. We have one common room where we got one TV to watch sports and other things for entertainment. We have several sports items to play. Our bathroom is not too good but usable. Our college hostel rent is 1050/- for one month and 1500/- for meal. That's all.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Well maintained classrooms are there and all the types of books are available in our college library. The facilities in our college are free Wi-Fi, advanced laboratories and computer-based laboratory, and digital library. We have 7 well maintained building. And moderate campus not to big not too small. We have our own sports ground. And canteen also present in college campus which is good.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus is good. All teachers and students are friendly and helpful. We always have all types of program in our college. This is too good and enjoyable. A college fest is organised every year. And every year we participate in sports and secure good ranks.

    At first, I have applied in various colleges of Kolkata, Haldia, and some other districts. Nevertheless, it was a new journey to me so I choose a nearby college. Midnapore College has a great reputation. The faculty of our Economics department is very good in nature. The teachers here are humble to students. The admission procedure was also smooth.     I choose this college as I want to pursue my higher study in physics. This among the top hundred colleges in all over India. Its NIRF ranking is 73 all over India. This is the best college in our district almost all of alumni of this college are in best institute in our country and outside also.     The campus life of this college is great, the faculty members specially department of BCA is supportive as they are always ready to help you. Beside this, various extra curriculum activities and seminar are also organised by college. The placement cell of this college is also active.
