Overall Rating
I have a lot of interest in Mechanical stream and MNIT Jaipur is one of the best NIT's in North India so this is the reason to choose MNIT. After I got admission my 1 year was ruined by corona as all the classes happened online. After 1st year I get to live in campus hostel and my first experience of college is that it is quite green and situated in a posh locality of Jaipur like malls, shops, cinema is quite nearby. Campus is quite big having all the facilities like library, dispensary, sports facilities, etc.

Academics Rating
I choose the mechanical stream and I am from SC category so cutoff for the same is around 2100 and mine SC rank was 1900. Motive is to study from a good institute like MNIT which has good placement and great campus life. And MNIT is located quite near to my house so that is also a reason to choose this.

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are quite experienced and have great qualification like many studied from NIT's, IIT's and good foreign colleges and they have quite a good teaching skill. It also has enthusiastic new faculties also which has quite unique way of teaching. But it also has some faculties which are not that good also.

Placement Rating
Yes MNIT have a placement cell. Placement cell is quite helpful if you have any problem regarding placement and internship. They are also responsible for many good companies to come in college like HPCL, BPCL and HRRL.

Hostel Rating
Yes, some hostels are old but new hostels have all the facilities and there is also a new hostel under construction. Facilities like sports are available in new hostels. Hostel day is organised by every hostel in which students participate in various activities.

Infrastructure Rating
For lectures Vivekananda Lecture Theater Complex was developed in 2012 which is the largest theater complex in Asia, VLTC has lecture rooms and tutorial rooms with facilities like projectors, ergonomic seating arrangement, centralized AC, etc. Mechanical lab is not that up to date I think. Computer lab and library is also available and almost all type of sports facilities is also available.

I have almost spent 1 year there in the campus, it's good and nice environment, but the weather is too different from South India, but the campus is filled with lush greenery everywhere and is we well maintained. I chose this institute according to my ranking. For my ranking, there was no better institute than this. Nothing much different, it is as usual all NITs with same method of teaching. The differences maybe is just campus and maybe placement cells.... Read Full Review

You need to give JEE mains paper to get Bachelor of Architecture at MNIT Jaipur. Overall experience of college is very good. It is in great city with great campus of 317 acres. There are all facilities available in campus that a student may require. It is not situated out of the city rather it is in the heart of the city in Malaviya Nagar. Since all the students in the campus are highly educated, the intellect level of the environment around you is very good which helps in the overall developmen... Read Full Review
