IBS Hyderabad campus life is active and cheerful

I have recently joined IBS Hyderabad for my MBA program and will be specializing in Finance. Basis my research and experience so far, what pertains to IBS lies well outside the online reviews. There are many mixed reviews on reputed websites that confuse students, but I have waited to make my own opinion of it and I do not regret it as of yet. The college has been present for many years and has received recognized accreditations and rankings for management. They have processes that have been there for a long time and are renewed if needed to keep pace with the changing trends and it is something I have come to appreciate. The course contents are well-designed after regular consultations with placement partners and are delivered effectively. The hostel and mess are average and I do not have many complaints about either, in fact, I appreciate the hostel block and room I have been allotted. The administration and management respond to students well in time too.

The MBA program is well-developed and complemented with resources and workshops alike and encourages students to be active and present with a promise of delivering all content effectively. The teaching and training work out well for students who priorities learning and development for their career and there is also a provision for subscribing to coursera programs under the university. The students do not need to have work experience although it is recognized and appreciated and the course is delivered so as to bring everyone from differing backgrounds onto the same page.

The faculty members are all very keen on helping out students achieve their career goals and are well-learned professionals with significant work experience. They come from diverse backgrounds and hold enough expertise to be able to deliver their respective courses under the program and teach with a mindset to be able to help everyone because they are professionals though their academic backgrounds differ. The teaching methods are also tailored by many to fit their class and the pace is matched accordingly as well.

The campus has stood strong through the years and as a result, some facilities might be a bit dated but function efficiently to support their use well. The campus's academic blocks are all made so that it’s easy to navigate and each facility is placed so that all other related departments are in close proximity too. The campus is vast and lush with greenery. The hostels do not have AC's but there is enough ventilation. The blocks are all well-connected with each other through the caterpillar (a path running through the IBS campus) and there are cafeterias present throughout the campus for students and faculties. There are sports facilities, both indoor and outdoor, gym, etc that are available to everyone on the campus.

The campus life is most active at night and is always cheerful. There are many clubs and activities for the students to engage in which also add a lot of value to their resumes. There are designated SPOCs and a good number of networking opportunities that the students have to leverage to be able to use said benefits to their fullest potential. The campus always engages the students throughout the day and makes an effort to keep them disciplined through a fixed but flexible schedule.
